Abstract: Floor mats for absorbing liquids, comprising a shell having a first and a second portion connected to each other in such a way that the first and the second portions of the shell form a pocket, and an absorbent material, which is a superabsorbent material is arranged in the pocket. The first and/or the second portion of the shell has a length in a range of 200 mm to 1000 mm and a width in a range of 200 mm to 600 mm, wherein the floor mat comprises three sections having a first thickness and two sections having a second thickness, wherein the second thickness is less than the first thickness.
Abstract: The invention relates to floor mats for absorbing liquids, comprising a shell made of a flexible, non-woven spunbonded fabric, wherein the shell comprises a first and a second section, wherein the first and the second sections of the shell are connected to each other in some sections in such a way that the first and the second sections of the shell form a pocket, and comprising at least one absorbent material section that comprises a superabsorbent material, wherein the absorbent material section is arranged in the pocket. Such floor mats known from the prior art are available only with certain specified absorbing capacities.
