    Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a distributed unit of a network node, for establishing a connection between the distributed unit and a central unit connected to a core part of the wireless network. The network node includes the central unit and at least the distributed unit. The distributed unit performs a Domain Name Server lookup for a proxy central unit, which will act as a temporary or initial central unit with regard to a configuration transfer procedure. The distributed unit further receives an ip address of the proxy central unit and initiates the configuration transfer procedure by sending a configuration transfer message to the ip address of the proxy central unit. The distributed unit further receives an ip address of the central unit and establishes a connection between the distributed unit and the central unit using the received ip address of the central unit.

    Abstract: According to an aspect, a network node operating in a first RAN according to a first RAT is the target of an inter-RAT (IRAT) handover. The network node receives a handover request for a user equipment from a cell in a second RAN operating according to a second RAT. After handover of the user equipment to a cell in the first RAN is completed, the network node configures the user equipment to measure one or more frequencies corresponding to the second RAN. Based on measurements reported by the user equipment for the one or more frequencies, the network node identifies one or more detected cells exceeding a measurement threshold, and sends a handover report towards the second RAN. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless node for performing CFR includes performing a first CFR step on a plurality of input signals at a first sampling rate with joint peak detection and band-specific noise shaping; and performing a second CFR step on the resulting plurality of input signals at a second sampling rate with joint peak detection and joint noise shaping where the second sampling rate is higher than the first sampling rate. In this way, Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) reduction may be increased while the computational complexity is reduced.

    Abstract: An example wireless device (12) in a dormant state improves its selection of a camping cell by accounting for multi-cell configurations. Among other things, a multi-cell configuration may improve throughput between a wireless communication network (10) and the wireless device (12), based on the network (10) serving the wireless device (12) from two or more cells (24). By camping on a cell (24) that belongs to a multi-cell configuration that is possible for the wireless device (12), the wireless device (12) reduces the time and signaling needed to establish that multi-cell configuration, upon the wireless device (12) connecting to the network (10) via the camping cell. Accounting for multi-cell configurations may be done jointly, along with accounting for conventional priorities, such as conventionally-prioritized frequencies and Radio Access Technologies (RATs) and may be incorporated into the ranking of cells (24) based on per-cell radio-signal measurements.
