  • Publication number: 20230283425
Abstract: The present application describes devices, systems, and methods for transmitting certain signals by a user equipment, UE (510), during a discontinuous reception, DRX, inactive time. An exemplary method includes receiving configuration information indicating a status associated with a reception, by a radio node, of a sounding reference signal, SRS, during a DRX inactive time and selectively transmitting, to the radio node, the SRS during the DRX inactive time based at least in part on the status.

  • Publication number: 20230228837
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for a network node or wireless device (WD) to communicate with another WD or network node. The node or WD is configured to perform at least one timing measurement over a measurement period (T1) on signals transmitted between the node or WD and another node or WD and, during T1, determine if there is any change in a fixed time offset (FTO) used by the nodes for transmitting a reference signal. If there is a change in the FTO over T1, the network nodes or WDs are configured to perform an operational task and, if not, continue performing the timing measurement over T1. The operational tasks may include discarding the timing measurement, restarting the timing measurement, extending the measurement time, informing another node about a change in the FTO or informing another node about an action taken by the network node or WD.

  • Patent number: 10992031
Abstract: A mobile communications antenna comprises at least one antenna housing with a housing front side, a housing rear side, a first lateral housing side and a second lateral housing side opposite to the first. In the antenna housing, there are multiple radiating elements or pairs of radiating elements. The antenna further includes at least two amplifier modules, wherein each amplifier module comprises a first connection port and a second connection port and the amplifier modules are mounted on the exterior of the antenna housing. The connection ports are connected to corresponding first and second connection contact devices via plug-in connections. At least one signal processing and/or control unit is disposed in a housing, which is separate from the amplifier modules, in or on the antenna housing of the mobile communications antenna.

  • Patent number: 8289910
Abstract: An improved device for receiving and transmitting mobile telephony signals comprises at least 4 channels. Each of the at least 4 channels (K1, K2, K3, K4) can be controlled with a transmission signal, that is different from the other channels, which can be generated with a separate channel module (KM1, KM2, KM3, KM4) from various data streams. A controller device is provided for, via which several or all of the power amplifiers, which are connected in several or all channels (K; K1, K2, K3, K4), can be operated in-phase or phase-locked with each other, in such a way that the transmission signals (TX) amplified in the channels concerned (K; K1, K2, K3, K4) can be synchronized and interconnected. As a result, a transmission signal can be radiated with a higher transmission power.

  • Patent number: 7804814
Abstract: A communication system having a plurality of common channels and includes a primary common control physical channel, a plurality of dedicated channels and a synchronization channel (SCH). The primary common control physical channel and the synchronization channel are transmitted time multiplexed, and the sum transmit power of dedicated channels is reduced during the transmission of the synchronization channel in order to keep the total output power at the base station power amplifier below a maximum power limit.
