  • Patent number: 5766576
Abstract: The oxidation hair dye composition for oxidative dyeing of hair is based on a combination of developer substance and coupler substance and contains at least one 3,4,5-triamino-pyrazole derivative compound selected from the group consisting of 1-methyl-3,4,5-triaminopyrazole, 3,5-diamino-1-methyl-4-methylaminopyrazole, 3,5-diamino-4-(2'-hydroxyethyl) amino-1-methylpyrazole and physiologically compatible, water-soluble salts of the foregoing pyrazole derivative compounds, as the developer substance. The invention also includes novel 3,4,5-triaminopyrazole derivative compounds.

  • Patent number: 5718731
Abstract: The oxidation hair dye composition contains from 0.01 to 4.0 percent by weight of a developer substance including at least one diaminopyrazole of the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, an alkyl group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a hydroxyalkyl group having from 2 to 4 carbon atoms and a substituted or unsubstituted benzyl group, and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3, independently, are each selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, an alkyl group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms and a hydroxyalkyl group having from 2 to 4 carbon atoms; and from 0.01 to 4.0 percent by weight of a coupler substance including at least one m-phenylenediamine selected from the group consisting of N-(3-dimethylamino)phenyl urea and 3-(N-methylsulfonyl)amino-N,N-dimethylaniline.

  • Patent number: 5663366
Abstract: The subject matter of the present invention is directed to a process for producing 4,5-diaminopyrazole derivatives of the general formula (I) ##STR1## where R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently designate hydrogen, a C.sub.1 - to C.sub.6 -alkyl radical or a C.sub.2 - to C.sub.4 -hydroxyalkyl radical, which can be used as dye precursors, for example for hair dyes, and to new pyrazole derivatives. When using the process according to the invention good yields of isomer-pure 4,5-diaminopyrazole derivatives of general formula (I) can be obtained.
