  • Patent number: 11925991
Abstract: A milling device for machining a slot into an inner surface of a casing for a gas turbine engine. The milling device includes a frame assembly including multiple structural guides configured to engage structural features on the inner surface of the casing to maintain an axial position of the milling device relative to a longitudinal axis of the casing. The milling device also includes a milling cutter coupled to the frame assembly. The milling device is configured to be displaced in a circumferential direction relative to the longitudinal axis to machine the slot, via the milling cutter, along the inner surface of the casing in the circumferential direction.

  • Publication number: 20240067235
Abstract: The invention relates to a rail vehicle (1) comprising a first passenger car and a powerpack (2) having a longitudinal axis, the powerpack (2) and the passenger car being coupled together. The powerpack (2) comprises at least one fuel cell (20) and at least one fuel tank (21) having a fuel tank valve (33). The powerpack (2) is mounted on at least one bogie. The rail vehicle (1) comprises at least one driven bogie which can be supplied with electrical energy from the fuel cell (20).

  • Publication number: 20180347134
Abstract: A containment system consists of a set of filtering units, a first float, a second float, and a sliding mechanism. The set of filtering units is used to filter an oil spill or other hazardous material. The first float and the second float allow the apparatus to stay afloat in the water source. The sliding mechanism allows the user to control the first float and the second float and thus, control the submersion level of the set of filtering units. Each of the set of filtering units is interconnected through a first interlocking mechanism and a second interlocking mechanism. A plurality of perforated filter cartridges of the set of filtering units executes the filtering process. Preferably, the plurality of perforated filter cartridges will be removably positioned within an enclosure.

  • Patent number: 9838026
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for fractional-N synthesizer phase-locked loops with multi-phase oscillators are provided. In certain configurations, a fractional-N PLL includes a time-to-digital converter (TDC), a digital loop filter, a multi-phase oscillator, and fractional division circuitry. The multi-phase oscillator includes multiple taps used to generate multiple clock signal phases that are provided to the fractional division circuitry to reduce the fractional-N PLL's quantization error. The fractional division circuitry includes a tap error correction circuit for compensating for errors in tap positions of the multi-phase oscillator. By including the tap error correction circuit, the phase noise and/or jitter performance of the fractional-N PLL can be enhanced.

  • Publication number: 20050210509
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for dynamically generating digital video streams without an equivalent analog stream. The apparatus includes a configuration manager. The configuration manager presents configuration options to a user. User selections are recording as user preferences. The configuration manager is coupled to a media generator, which generates intermediate digital content based upon the user preferences. The media generator may be coupled to a local storage for storing electronic audio and visual information. The intermediate digital content is transferred to an encoder, which encodes the intermediate digital content to a digital format specified by in the user preferences.
