Publication number: 20070075668Abstract: The invention relates to a method for power control of an electric motor, in particular a motor for driving the suction fan of a vacuum cleaner connected to an AC mains power supply. The power control is effected by varying the phase angle of the electric alternating quantity supplied to the motor by the use of semiconductor switches. AC power supplied to the motor is switched by using different delay times for the switching in each half-period of a full AC period to suppress odd harmonics, particularly the third harmonic of the mains power line frequency. Half-periods of a full period are mirrored in the next consecutive full period in order to suppress even harmonics, particularly the second harmonic of the mains power line frequency. A set of delay times t1 and t2 are defined and selected to be used in further avoiding critical delay time areas for harmonics and minimize the generation of vibrations.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 5, 2005Publication date: April 5, 2007Applicant: ELECTROLUX HOME CARE PRODUCTS, LTD.Inventors: Stefan Jonsson, Jonas Beskow

Patent number: 6318802Abstract: In an arrangement for a seat (2) in a vehicle, the seat is movable in a longitudinal direction along a plane (33) which slopes relative to the horizontal plane. The subframe of the seat (2) consists of devices (30, 31) fastened respectively to the vehicle and to the seat, which devices consist of two substantially similar triangular supporting frames. Resetting between a predetermined driving position and a likewise predetermined resting position is made possible by a control device (16) which is fastened to the device (30) which is itself fastened to the vehicle, which control device cooperates with a locking device fastened to the seat so that during a relocating movement between forward and rear positions of the seat the locking device (17) becomes free from at least one locking position between the vehicle seat and the device (30) fastened to the vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 1999Date of Patent: November 20, 2001Assignee: Scania CV AktiebolagInventors: Staffan Sjöström, Stefan Jonsson, Sten-Erik Lestander

Patent number: 6208299Abstract: An antenna arrangement for receiving and/or transmitting electromagnetic signals in two spaced-apart frequency bands including a first frequency band having a first center frequency (f1) and a second frequency band having a second center frequency (f2). A first set of antenna elements (A1) are operative in the first frequency band (f1), and a second set of antenna elements (A2) are operative in the second frequency band (f2). A feeding network (C, 10, C1, C2) is arranged for feeding signals to the respective sets of antenna elements. Patent number: 6005522Abstract: Antenna devices, including a pair and larger arrays of radiators, wherein each pair is to be connected to a first transmission line having a first characteristic impedance Z1. Each pair includes at least first and second radiating elements (1, 2) and first and second impedance transformers (3, 4) for the first and second radiating elements. One side of each transformer is connected to the respective element. The other sides are inter-connected by a second transmission line (8) to which their impedances are matched. The second transmission line has a resistive first impedance R1 equal to twice the first characteristic impedance Z1. The first transmission line is to be connected to the second transmission line at a selected one of many possible contact points (9). The selected contact point then determines a signal phase difference between said first and second radiating elements.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 1999Date of Patent: December 21, 1999Assignee: Allgon ABInventors: Mario Arias, Stefan Jonsson, Witold M.
