  • Patent number: 9363931
Abstract: A carrier for a display module, in particular for an LED display module, having an arrangement for accommodating and/or fastening a display module, and having an air inlet opening and at least one air outlet opening, connected to one another by air ducts through which cooling air can flow to cool the display module, the carrier having a central air inlet opening that is connected via air ducts to at least two air outlet openings situated at different locations of the carrier, and the air ducts being fashioned between ribs provided on the carrier. Also described is a display device having such a carrier, and a display module carried thereby.

  • Patent number: 6690456
Abstract: A wheel alignment apparatus has measurement heads for determining wheel positions of wheels of a motor vehicle. Each measurement head comprises at least one camera which is the direct to a measurement target arranged in the field of view of the camera and positioned in a well defined relationship to the wheel of the motor vehicle. Pictures taken by the camera are evaluated by an evaluation unit in order to determined the spatial position of the measurement target and, thereby, the wheel with respect to the position of the camera and the measurement head respectively. The wheel alignment apparatus wheel alignment apparatus comprises an optical reference system integrated into the measurement heads for calibrating the measurement heads of the wheel alignment apparatus as to the position of the measurement heads with respect to each other.

  • Patent number: 6484715
Abstract: A dispenser (1) has two remote pressure handles (29, 35) and lateral gripping recesses (58) for mutually displacing two units (2, 3) axially and rotationally. A tear-off web (52) prevents the two units (2, 3) from being actuated accidentally. A discharge stud (34) protrudes beyond the handles (29, 35, 58). The dispenser (1) is so small that it may be fully enveloped and covered by one user's hand. Nevertheless reliable actuation for nasal application is assured.

  • Patent number: 6367473
Abstract: For discharging a medium, such as a powder, a film/foil seal (16) of a reservoir chamber (24) is pierced by a tool (40) in a first axial movement, after which the medium is suctioned via an orifice (9) in feeding a delivery flow via passageways (55) from the chamber (24). On completion of a return stroke and twisting the tool (40) relative to the reservoir body (6) a further chamber (24) may be emptied in the same way, thus enabling e.g. a pharmaceutical active substance to be administered in two individual doses as expedient for nasal treatment.

  • Patent number: 6143189
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a gelatin-coated glass panel is described. In this, gelatin is first applied onto a glass panel, then a protective layer is sputtered on through a mask placed onto the gelatin layer. After removal of the mask, the gelatin can be removed, with the aid of a dry etching method, from the regions in which it is not equipped with a protective layer. The glass panel can then easily be divided by scoring and breaking. The method makes it possible to produce, on a large-scale production basis, liquid crystal displays which have either a color filter or a black matrix made of photoemulsion.

  • Patent number: 6026992
Abstract: A dispenser (1,1a) provides for filling a dosing chamber (15,15a) by gravity and then emptying it by closing an inlet valve (39,39a), by opening an outlet valve (40,40a) and by shortening the dosing chamber (15,15a) with the assistance of air flow through a discharge port (7,7a) and into a cup (80) which in one embodiment is assembled as part of the dispenser (1a) and which is removable so that its medium contents can be dispensed. Such a dispenser (1,1a) achieves a highly accurate dosing with simple handling and construction.
