  • Publication number: 20220042777
Abstract: The invention relates to programmable practice ammunition. For this purpose, a projectile head of a practice projectile of the practice ammunition has at least one electronic system in the form of an electronic fuze replacement system and a signal transmitter. Optionally, an explosive charge can be introduced into the projectile head. The explosive charge is preferably a pyrotechnic. A light signal, an infrared signal, a radio signal, or another suitable electronic or optical signal, even a color signal, can be output and transmitted via the signal transmitter. Optionally, the explosive charge can be triggered and deployed via the signal transmitter. The projectile is provided with radial openings for this purpose. The invention additionally relates to a training system for a realistic practice using an explosive representation at the target or in the target area.

  • Publication number: 20220026186
Abstract: The invention relates to a test and/or practice ammunition having at least one projectile with a projectile head and a fin which can be found at the end of the projectile for example or a projectile with a projectile base and a projectile ogive. A cartridge shell is used to receive a drive and has a shell base, wherein an interface is attached in or on the shell base. The test and/or practice ammunition is characterized by a programmable fuze which is arranged in the projectile head or the projectile ogive. The projectile head/projectile ogive is equipped with at least one fuze amplifier and an electronic fuze system and optionally a separating charge.

  • Publication number: 20130069427
Abstract: The invention relates to a circuit arrangement (1) comprising an electrical and/or electronic circuit unit (10), which comprises a circuit carrier (14), on which at least one electrical and/or electronic component (12) is arranged, and at least one connection region (5) with at least one contact unit (14.2) for electrically contact-connecting the electrical and/or electronic circuit unit (10) to other electrical and/or electronic structural units, wherein at least one region of the circuit unit (10) is arranged in a housing unit (20) sealed relative to the surroundings. According to the invention, the housing unit (20) comprises a protective compound which surrounds the at least one region of the circuit unit (10) in a sealing fashion and surrounds the at least one connection region (5) in such a way that the at least one contact unit (14.2) is embedded at least at its side areas into the protective compound (22).

  • Publication number: 20130010442
Abstract: The invention relates to a circuit arrangement comprising an electric and/or electronic circuit unit (10) which has a circuit carrier (14), on which at least one electric and/or electronic component (12) is arranged, and at least one connecting zone comprising a contact unit for electrically contacting the electric and/or electronic circuit unit (10) with other electric and/or electronic components. The invention also relates to a corresponding controller for a motor vehicle. The circuit carrier (14) is designed as at least one lead frame assembly having individual strip conductors (14.11, 14.12), the strip conductors (14.11, 14.12) being arranged in at least two different planes (14.3, 14.4).

  • Publication number: 20100147178
Abstract: The invention relates to a so-called fuze damping in projectiles, in particular with a built-in firing delay. The invention proposes a projectile (1) having a rear part (1a) and a fuze (2) , wherein at least one damping element (7) is inserted between a fuze base (5) and the projectile (1) and/or between a fuze shoulder (6) and a possible threaded ring (4) or similar attachment element. The damping element (7) is in the form of a disc, ring or pot, and is composed of a material with a lower acoustic impedance than the material of the projectile (1).

  • Publication number: 20050188891
Abstract: A discarded propelling cage sabot for a sub-caliber projectile is provided. The sabot includes a plurality of propelling cage sabot sections arranged side-by-side in a circumferential direction and separated by separating joints, each of the propelling cage sabot sections having a pressure flange having a groove-shaped recess, and a frustum-shaped propelling cage sabot region which is positioned rearward in the direction of flight relative to the pressure flange. The sabot also includes a plurality of sealing band segments that are arranged side-by-side in the circumferential direction and are separated by separating joints, each of the sealing band segments corresponding to one of the propelling cage sabot sections.
