  • Publication number: 20180226902
Abstract: The actuator (2) comprises a piezoelectric actuator element (4), which is 18 connected to an adjusting element (12) for exerting an adjusting movement in the adjusting direction (14). For the transmission of a deflecting movement of the actuator element (4), a housing (6) is formed with a variable-shape displacer (8) enclosed therein. During operation, a deflecting movement of the actuator element (4) is transmitted to the displacer (8), so that the latter is deformed and, as a result of the deformation, performs a yielding movement. The housing (6) in this case forms a guide for the displacer (8), so that the yielding movement of the displacer (8) is oriented in the adjusting direction (14). The adjusting element (12) is also connected to the displacer (8), so that the yielding movement of the displacer (8) is transmitted to the adjusting element (12).

  • Publication number: 20160294307
Abstract: An assembly (10) for converting mechanical work into electrical energy comprising a bending transducer (12) with a support (20) in the form of a strip and with at least one piezoelectric layer (22) attached thereto, the support (20) in the form of a strip being mounted at both ends (30) and an actuating mechanism (8, 30) being provided in such a way that, when the actuating mechanism (8, 30) is actuated, a mechanical force is exerted on the support (20) in the longitudinal direction of the support (26) and leads to arcuate bending of the bending transducer (12), and thereby to the generation of electrical energy. The assembly can be used to provide electrical energy for a counting device.

  • Publication number: 20150326149
Abstract: A metering device (2) comprises an energy generation unit (12) for generating comparatively small amounts of energy during an operating cycle; an energy storage unit (24, 26) for buffering the amount of energy generated; a control unit (14) for determining an item of current state information (I); and a processing unit (16) for processing the current state information (I) further, wherein the energy requirement of the control unit (14) and the energy requirement of the display unit (16) are different, and the allocation of the limited amount of energy for the control unit (14) and the processing unit (16) is regulated according to the different energy requirement.

  • Patent number: 6811136
Abstract: A piezoelectric valve whose housing defines a valve chamber wherein at least one piezoelectric flexural transducer is located. The piezoelectric flexural transducer possesses a contact face, which faces a first outer wall of the valve housing. This first outer wall is in the form of a wiring support which possesses a support body consisting of plastic material, which at the outer side opposite to the valve chamber bears a wiring arrangement. The wiring arrangement is in electrical contact by way of a via extending through a cutout in the support body with the piezoelectric flexural transducer, since the via consists of an electrically conductive elastic plug, against which the at least one contact face is thrust at the inner face of the support body.

  • Publication number: 20030225548
Abstract: A movable machine part of a machine controlled by a control program is monitored with little effort. To this end, the machine parts currently being controlled by the control program are identified and counted. The machine parts actually moved by the control program are simultaneously counted. When the numbers differ from one another, a fault message and identified machine parts as possible fault sources are displayed.

  • Publication number: 20030192534
Abstract: The invention relates to a medicament dispenser including a dosing device and an indicator device. The indicator device sums up a use-related value that is associated with every actuation of the dosing device, calculates a value indicating the total number of uses, and displays the value.

  • Patent number: 6323583
Abstract: A piezoelectric bending transducer comprises a flat, electrically conductive supporting body having piezoceramic coatings on both sides. Each coating has an inner contact area facing the supporting body and an outer contact area facing away from the supporting body. The piezoceramic coatings are omitted from one end of the supporting body, which is fixed in a connector base. Each of the two coatings and the supporting body are electrically connected to a plug-in contact that includes an electrically conductive elastomer in a cavity in the connecting body. The elastomer is partially elastically deformed by a contact pin inserted thereinto. As a result of the ease with which electrical connections can thus be made to the transducers, this arrangement is particulary adapted for incorporation into a transducer module with plural transducers secured adjacent to each other in a common connector base.

  • Patent number: 5242293
Abstract: An apparatus for producing extrusions, such as optical waveguide plug prongs or sheaths with a central opening, from a deformable composition, includes a receiving body having an outlet opening and having an interior tapering conically at a predetermined first angle of conicity toward the outlet opening. A flow body is to be inserted into the interior of the receiving body. The flow body has an end portion tapering conically at a predetermined second angle of conicity. The second angle of conicity is smaller than the first angle of conicity. A retainer retains the flow body in the interior of the receiving body. The retainer is resilient in radial direction of the interior of the receiving body.
