  • Patent number: 11041411
Abstract: The invention relates to a camshaft adjusting system (1) for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, including a hydraulic camshaft adjuster (2) which has a stator (3), a rotor (4) that is rotatably mounted in the stator (3), and a hydraulic control system (6) that has a valve (5). The rotor (4) has at least one vane which protrudes into a pressure chamber formed between the rotor (4) and the stator (3) such that the pressure chamber is divided into two sub-chambers, each of which interacts with the hydraulic control system (6) such that a hydraulic pressure ratio is established between the two sub-chambers, said ratio specifying a relative rotational position between the rotor (4) and the stator (3), and is adjusted on the basis of the position of the valve (5). The camshaft adjusting system also includes an actuator (7) which is arranged adjacently in the axial direction of the camshaft adjuster (2) and which acts on the valve (5) for adjusting purposes.

  • Patent number: 10919124
Abstract: A grinding machine including an electric drive with a drive wheel, wherein the electric drive is arranged on a base unit of the grinding machine, a grinding spindle unit constructed as a grinding arm arranged removable on the base unit and which includes a grinding tool and a gear element which transmits the rotational movement of the drive wheel to the grinding tool. To facilitate the change of the grinding arm, the gear element includes: a driver which is supported on the grinding spindle unit and which is directly or indirectly in rotary union with the grinding tool, two guide wheels which are supported on the grinding spindle unit and a belt which is guided around the driver and the guide wheels, wherein in the mounted state of the grinding spindle unit at the base unit the drive wheel contacts the belt between the two guide wheels and hereby drives the same.

  • Publication number: 20190353061
Abstract: A control valve for a camshaft adjuster for an engine is provided. The control valve includes a valve sleeve having one or more inlet openings, two supply openings, and an outlet opening, and a control piston guided in the valve sleeve. The piston, together with the valve sleeve and control edges arranged on the control piston, form three annular ducts. A fluid-conducting connection between an inlet opening and a supply opening can be controlled via a first annular channel. A fluid-conducting connection between the inlet opening and another supply opening can be controlled via a second annular channel. The first annular channel and the second annular channels may enclose a central annular channel, via which a fluid-conducting connection between the supply opening and the outlet opening, as well as between the another supply opening and the outlet opening, can be controlled.

  • Patent number: 10473001
Abstract: Control valves for a hydraulic camshaft adjuster are disclosed. In one example, the control valve includes a housing and a control piston mounted in a receiver of the housing. Several openings may be provided on an inner casing surface of the receiver, at least some of which may be assigned to an inlet port P, a supply port A, a supply port B or a supply port C. The control piston may include a first control groove, a second control groove and a third control groove which can each be connected to at least two openings of the housing depending on a position of the control piston relative to the housing. The first control groove may be configured to be brought into fluid-conductive connection with a first inlet opening assigned to the inlet port P and with an opening assigned to the supply port A.

  • Publication number: 20180318980
Abstract: A grinding machine for grinding of workpieces with an internal profile, having a grinding arm in which at least one grinding wheel is supported for grinding of the profile of the workpiece and a reception which is arranged at the grinding machine for holding the grinding arm. To facilitate the change of the grinding arm and thereby nevertheless to ensure a precise position of the same relatively to the reception the invention proposes that the grinding arm comprises at least two clamping pins being spaced apart from another and that the reception comprises two corresponding recesses for the reception of the clamping pins, wherein in the reception locking means are arranged by which the clamping pins can be locked in the recesses so that the grinding arm is detachably fixed in a defined position relatively to the reception.
