  • Publication number: 20250060365
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture to make and/or process a diagnostic test device are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a porous media include a first zone and a second zone, the first zone including immobilized antigens corresponding to a target analyte or immobilized antibodies corresponding to the target analyte; a wireless chip to: wirelessly obtain a first voltage via a signal from an external device; output a second voltage smaller than the first voltage to a first electrode in contact with at least one of the first zone or the second zone; and measure an electrical signal from the first electrode, the electrical signal corresponding to presence of the target analyte.

  • Publication number: 20240066521
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture to make and/or process a diagnostic test device are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a first portion including an opening; a second portion coupled to the first portion and house a lateral flow assay strip, the second portion including a first clip; and a push button located within the opening of the first portion, the push button moveable from a first position to a second position, the push button including a second clip to engage the first clip of the second portion to maintain the push button in the second position when moved into the second position.

  • Publication number: 20230221312
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture to make and/or process a diagnostic test device are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a sensor to measure a current between a first electrode and a second electrode of a bioelectrochemical cell coupled to a test zone corresponding to a target analyte on a porous media of a device; a processor to compare the current to a threshold; and when the current is more than the threshold, identify that the target analyte is present in a sample; and an antenna to wirelessly transmit results.

  • Patent number: 10980588
Abstract: A separator element (300) is designed to prevent the passage of granulate along an axial direction (L) but to allow the passage of liquid along the axial direction (L). The separator element (300) has an internal thread (310) open towards its proximal end, and an external thread (320) open towards the distal end. At its proximal end, the separator element additionally has at least one resilient locking arm (330) which is arranged on the outer circumference and winch extends with its free end in the proximal direction. In this way, the separator element can be mounted on the discharge opening of a container (100) and, by means of a closure piece (400), can be fixed on the container in such a way that the separator element remains on the container when the closure piece is removed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 3, 2017
Date of Patent: April 20, 2021
    Assignee: Sulzer Mixpac AG
Inventors: Benjamin Nieber, Martin Veid, Beat Mathys, Stefan Kugler

  • Patent number: 7766917
Abstract: An extractor is provided to extract an insert used with a bone connection element such as a bone plate having at least one opening for a bone screw used with the insert. The extractor has an outer hollow sleeve having proximal abutment surface for engaging a surface portion of the bone plate, and an inner bar having a diameter enabling the insertion of the bar into the hollow sleeve. The bar has a threaded leading end to engage the thread of the insert to be extracted. The hollow sleeve has an inner thread and the inner bar has an outer threaded element for engaging the inner thread of the hollow sleeve. The outer threaded element is positioned with respect to the bar in a longitudinal position to enable the threaded locking end to extend beyond the proximal abutment surface of the sleeve to be threaded into the insert.
