  • Publication number: 20200018617
Abstract: A test system for testing the positioning functionality of a device under test (DUT) is provided. The test system includes a high precision global navigation satellite system (GNSS) simulator configured to simulate real-time kinematic (RTK) signals. The test system further includes a sensor simulator configured to simulate ideal sensor signals, and a sensor error model unit. The sensor error model unit is further configured to simulate sensor errors based on a real sensor datasheet. The simulated ideal sensor signals are combined with the simulated sensor errors to form real simulation signals.

  • Publication number: 20190049591
Abstract: A measuring device serves the purpose of testing a location tracking of a device under test. The measuring device comprises a global navigation satellite system simulator adapted to wirelessly transmit a radio frequency global navigation satellite system signal to a device under test, and a base station simulator adapted to wirelessly transmit a real-time kinematic signal to the device under test. The measuring device is adapted to compare a location, determined by the device under test based on the radio frequency global navigation satellite system signal and the real-time kinematic signal, with an ideal location, upon which the radio frequency global navigation satellite system signal and the real-time kinematic signal are based.

  • Patent number: 10099373
Abstract: A multi-axis robot includes robot drives, a tool head, a drag chain for guiding flexible lines along at least a part of the robot up to the tool head, and an auxiliary system for moving a tool head-side end of the drag chain. The auxiliary system includes at least one auxiliary system drive for moving the tool head-side end. The auxiliary system drive is different than the robot drives. The multi-axis robot advantageously allows collisions between the tool-side end of the drag chain and the object to be treated or other objects in the vicinity of the robot to be avoided, ensuring that the surface of the object may be treated, in particular printed on by an inkjet print head, without disruption.

  • Publication number: 20170218295
Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of hydraulic fluids in plastic injection molding processes. Thereby it was surprisingly found that the use of hydraulic fluids with the right combination of physical parameters like the viscosity grade, the viscosity index, the density and the dispersancy allows for significant energy savings in plastic injection molding processes (PIM). The PIM process is an industrial process to manufacture plastic parts at well controlled temperatures, pressures and cycle times. The energy consumption of the process became more important over the last years, however, other parameters like process stability and accuracy of plastic part parameters as well as machine protection and long oil drain intervals have to be satisfying.

  • Publication number: 20160273408
Abstract: A power generation system may include a gas turbine system including a turbine component, an integral compressor and a combustor to which air from the integral compressor and fuel are supplied. The combustor is arranged to supply hot combustion gases to the turbine component, and the integral compressor has a flow capacity greater than an intake capacity of the combustor and/or the turbine component, creating an excess air flow. A first control valve system controls flow of the excess air flow along an excess air flow path to an exhaust of the turbine component. An eductor positioned in the excess air flow path uses the excess air flow as a motive force to augment the excess air flow with additional gas, creating an augmented excess gas flow.
