  • Patent number: 9870860
Abstract: A supply system for supplying in a contact-free manner electrical energy and data signals to a subscriber module, including a support member, a supply bar mounted on the support member, which supply bar supports primary energy and data interfaces, and at least one bus subscriber module mounted on the support member, which bus subscriber module includes secondary energy and data interfaces arranged adjacent and spaced from the primary energy and data interfaces, respectively, whereby electrical energy and data signals supplied to the primary interfaces are transmitted in a contact-free manner to the secondary interfaces, respectively. Preferably the support member is a mounting rail having an inverted top-hat configuration, with the supply bar being mounted longitudinally in the space defined by the horizontal bottom and vertical side walls of the mounting rail.

  • Patent number: 6689889
Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of optically active polymers of N-acryloyl-phenylalanine neomenthylamide as such, in crosslinked form and/or in carrier-bonded form as stationary phases for the chromatographic separation of enantiomers of lactones.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 10, 2001

  • Patent number: 6667395
Abstract: A description is given of a process for the industrial preparation of methylhydroxyalkylcelluloses (MHACs) by reaction of cellulose with alkali metal hydroxide and subsequent reaction with an alkyl halide and hydroxyalkylating agent, characterized in that the reaction is carried out batchwise in a reactor which has an L/D ratio of less than 2.5 and in which the unmixed regions are minimized and the batch reactor is preceded at the inlet by a continuously operated cellulose milling facility and is followed at the outlet by a continuously running plant for milling and drying the products, with the product being transported by action of gravity. An apparatus for carrying out this process and the methylhydroxyalkylcellulose obtainable by the process are also described.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 6518530
Abstract: A current-limiting contact arrangement includes a conductor rail including a stationary contact and including two current loops extending at opposite sides of the conductor rail in respective planes parallel to a center plane of the contact arrangement. A contact arm including a movable contact which can be brought into and out of contact with the stationary contact is provided, the current loops extending in respective planes parallel to a center plane of the contact arrangement and along an entire opening travel of the movable contact. An arc control device including arc splitters and a cassette including a first part and a second part and an insulating material are also provided. The arc splitters are disposed in a positive-locking manner in an interior of the cassette, the contact arm and a part of the conductor rail including the stationary contact extending into the interior of the cassette, and the current loops being disposed in a positive-locking manner at outer walls of the cassette.
