  • Patent number: 11120898
Abstract: Embodiments include a customizable encounter document whose contents are populated based on a template for the current patient, a template for all the user's patients, or a combination of templates. The contents include data modules retrieved from various databases and are arranged according to the user's work flow. The contents are presented in one view, a scrollable pane, to assist the user when making medical decisions. The user can make changes to the contents on the scrollable pane in real time that may affect one or more of the templates. Once the customizable encounter document is signed, the contents are captured, de-identified, and saved, along with a link of the captured contents with the user, and/or the patient's EHR.

  • Publication number: 20170199964
Abstract: In an embodiment, a computer-implemented method presents medical data. In the method, a request for medical data related to a patient is received. Then, data records in a medical records database that relate to the patient are identified. The medical records database includes a plurality of different types of medical data records, and each data record is associated with a corresponding time. According to the data records' corresponding time, the identified data records are temporally ordered to generate a timeline. Finally, the timeline is output to a device for display, such that the displayed timeline presents the plurality of different types of data records related to the patient together in a single temporal view.

  • Publication number: 20160042430
Abstract: In an embodiment, a computer-implemented method helps a physician prescribe a medical application to a patient. In the method, a plurality of medical applications are activated in an EHR system. Then, a request to retrieve medical applications for an encounter between the physician and the patient is received. Based on the medical information describing the encounter and feature information associated with the respective medical application, the EHR system filters the plurality of medical applications to generate a suggested list of medical applications. Finally, the suggested list of medical applications is output to a device for display.

  • Publication number: 20160042146
Abstract: In an embodiment, a computer-implemented method presents a physician-related medical application marketplace. In the method, a plurality of medical applications are activated in the EHR system. Then, a request for browsing the medical application marketplace is received. Based on medical information describing practice of the physician and feature information associated with the plurality of medical applications, the EHR system filters the plurality of medical applications to generate a recommended list of medical applications. Finally, the recommended list of medical applications is output to a device for display to the physician.
