    Abstract: Various embodiments include a method for controlling electricity exchanges and heat exchanges among a plurality of energy systems using a central control platform, wherein electricity exchange takes place via an electricity network and heat exchange via a heat network. The method may include: calculating a mathematical optimization at the control platform of power corresponding to the electricity exchanges and the heat exchanges; calculating the powers corresponding to the electricity exchanges and heat exchanges satisfies network boundary conditions of the electricity network; and implementing the electricity exchanges and heat exchanges between the energy systems based on the calculated powers. The optimization is based on an objective function including a coupling between electricity exchanges and heat exchanges.
