    Abstract: A hologram comprises a holographic layer comprising a photosensitive layer, holographic structures being formed in the holographic layer using a light source having at least a first wavelength, and a luminescent material, the luminescent material being configured to absorb the first wavelength, and to emit light having a second wavelength. A method of forming a hologram comprises exposing portions of a photosensitive layer to a light source having at least a first wavelength to form holographic structures in the photosensitive layer, selecting a luminescent material, the luminescent material being configured to absorb the first wavelength, and to emit light having a second wavelength, and incorporating the luminescent material into the hologram.
