  • Publication number: 20240416777
Abstract: A device for controlling a charging cable for charging a vehicle has a carrier structure arranged at a charging zone. A charging cable that is fastened to the carrier structure and connected to an electricity source carries a charging plug for plugging into the vehicle to be charged. A cable transport device has a cable transport element which is coupled to the charging cable in such a way that the charging cable is movable relative to the carrier structure. The cable transport device further has an operating element which is coupled to the cable transport element in such a way that control commands for controlling the cable transport element can be input by a user in order to position the charging plug in the charging zone.

  • Publication number: 20240408988
Abstract: A device for providing a charging cable for a vehicle. A carrier structure arranged at a charging zone has an attached charging cable between an electricity source and a charging plug for plugging into the vehicle to be charged. A cable control device has a cable control element for moving the charging cable relative to the carrier structure and for positioning the charging plug in the charging zone. A sensor device detects a charging situation in the charging zone. The sensor device is coupled to the cable control device in such a way that the cable control element can be controlled to position the charging plug in the charging zone based on the detected charging situation in the charging zone.

  • Publication number: 20240399903
Abstract: A device for providing a vehicle charging cable includes a carrier structure to be fastened at a distance from the ground, and a charging cable be connected to an electricity source and having a charging plug for plugging into a vehicle to be charged. A first cable pull device fastened to the carrier structure has a first carrier cable fastened between a first suspension point of the charging cable and the carrier structure. A second cable pull device fastened to the carrier structure at a distance from the first cable pull device has a second carrier cable fastened between the carrier structure and a second suspension point of the charging cable remote from the first suspension point. The first and second cable pull devices independently set lengths of the first and second carrier cables, permitting distances of the first and second suspension points from the ground to be set.

  • Publication number: 20230401863
Abstract: Various embodiments include a method for determination of an actual occupancy distribution of parking spots of a parking area. The method may include: processing an actual image of the parking area to detect one or more vehicles in the actual image, resulting in an actual vehicle representation; and processing the actual vehicle representation and an earlier generated general layout of the parking area to determine the actual occupancy distribution.

  • Publication number: 20230132562
Abstract: A charging system for autonomous charging of an electric vehicle with electric energy includes a vertical charging arm part, a charging cable or busbar connectible to the electric vehicle, and an elongate horizontal charging arm part extendible from the vertical charging arm part toward the electric vehicle. The horizontal charging arm part has a first drive system with a first linear operative direction corresponding to a longitudinal direction of the horizontal charging arm part, allowing a vehicle-side end of the horizontal charging arm part to move autonomously using the first drive system, relative to the electric vehicle relative to a first linear degree of freedom. A second drive system has a second linear operative direction moving the horizontal charging arm part autonomously relative to the electric vehicle relative to a second linear degree of freedom. A method for charging an electric vehicle using the charging system is also provided.
