  • Patent number: 11601974
Abstract: A network node (120) and method therein for performing multi-channel access procedures in a License-Assisted Access, LAA, cell in a wireless communication network are disclosed. The network node selects one carrier as a master carrier and starts a Listen Before Talk, LBT, channel sensing for all carriers at a same or different point in time. The network node further stores LBT channel sensing results for all carriers for at least the last two slot durations of a subframe and checks if the LBT channel sensing on the master carrier is successful based on its LBT channel sensing result. When the LBT channel sensing on the master carrier is successful, the network node checks the LBT channel sensing results for all other carriers, and transmits on the master carrier and the carriers where the LBT channel sensing is successful at the subframe boundary or earlier than the subframe boundary.

  • Patent number: 11350456
Abstract: A network node (110) and method therein for evaluating a channel in a License Assisted Access, LAA, cell in a wireless communication network (100) are disclosed. The network node starts a Listen Before Talk, LBT, procedure for data transmission when a Discovery Reference Signal, DRS, is to be transmitted; and start an LBT procedure for DRS transmission in parallel with the LBT procedure for data transmission when a time of the LBT procedure for data transmission reaches a predefined value or the LBT procedure for data transmission fails.

  • Patent number: 8073882
Abstract: A method and computer-readable media for managing software object handles in a dual threaded or multi-threaded environment are provided. In a first version a software driven computational process drives a first thread, while a garbage collector process drives a second active computational thread within a host computer. The software driven computational process generates persistent software objects that are temporarily stored in a memory of the host. Each handle may include an object identifier of the handle itself, an open/closed flag and a pointer to a unique persistent object. The open/closed flag indicates whether the persistent object associated with a handle shall remain open and accessible for processing or may be selected for closure by the garbage collector process. A plurality of handle wrappers are each associated in a one-to-one correspondence with a unique handle.

  • Patent number: 7917472
Abstract: A system, computer-readable media and method for backup one or more databases and restoring one or more databases using incremental backups are provided. Persistent collection objects are generated in the process of performing a database backup. A collection objects may order records, e.g., objects, in relation to and within pluralities of records. These pluralities of records may be referred to, or organized as, pages or containers of pages, comprising software objects. The persistent database backup collection object may include a time and date of a generation of an incremental backup database by a distinguishable and specific database archiving process (“backup event”), an event number of an incremental backup generation, one or more database identifiers, one or more container identifiers, and/or identifiers of individual records, e.g., object identifiers.

  • Publication number: 20070077131
Abstract: A method of producing a tool insert which comprises a central metal portion having edge regions of superabrasive material bonded thereto and presenting cutting edges or points for the tool insert is disclosed. A body (50) having major surfaces on each of opposite sides thereof, each having spaced strips (64) of superabrasive material, typically abrasive compact such as PCBN or PCD, for example, separated by a metal region or regions, such as cemented carbide, is provided. Each superabrasive strip of one major surface is arranged in register with a superabrasive strip of the opposite major surface. Alternatively, each superabrasive strip extends from one major surface to the opposite major surface. The body is severed from one major surface to the opposite major surface along at least two sets of planes intersecting at or in the respective superabrasive strips to produce the tool insert.
