  • Patent number: 11836528
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for monitoring and managing the performance of services accessed by sites on a computing platform. When a performance issue is identified, a service is monitored to determine if calls to the service exceed a threshold completion time. If so, a resource available to call the service is adaptively throttled by the platform.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20160179768
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, apparatus and methods for implementing a multichannel authoring and content management system. The content management system can classify stored documents into different “layout” types (e.g., “article”, “email”, or “coupon”), and also identify and classify discrete elements within each document according to different “element types” (e.g., “title”, “description”, “date”, or “image”). The content management system can also store documents according to multiple different digital formats. Storing documents in different formats, as well as metadata identifying each document's layout and element types, can facilitate retrieval of old content for the purpose of repackaging into new content. In particular, using multiple formats and identifying metadata can facilitate the content repackaging process by increasing the effectiveness of automated computer processes and decreasing the amount of human intervention required.
    Type: Application
    Filed: December 23, 2014
    Publication date: June 23, 2016
Inventors: Stefan PIESCHE, John STAUFFER, Eric BELAND

  • Patent number: 8438310
Abstract: A plurality of affiliated websites are configured to log user interactions. The logs comprise user identification information that allows a profile aggregation service to correlate user interactions across the affiliated websites and to generate respective user profiles. The user profiles may be used to configure the websites. A context aware platform (CAP) website may be configured to provide web services for entities in a business hierarchy. The CAP website may capable of presenting content in one of a plurality of operational modes associated with a geographical granularity of the business hierarchy. In addition, the CAP website may be configurable according to a user profile generated by a profile aggregation service.
