  • Patent number: 8100601
Abstract: A connection arrangement between a feed roller and a gearbox of a field chopper has a first shaft (25) with a central bore (26) that is rotatingly supported around an axis of rotation D, in a gearbox housing (30). A second shaft (32) is connected to a feed roller. The second shaft (32) is rotatingly supported around the axis of rotation D. The second shaft (32) has a central bore (33) that is aligned with the central bore (26) of the first shaft (25). A connecting journal (37) rests in the central bore (26) of one of the two shafts (25). The connecting journal (37) is form-fittingly connected to the central bore for torque transmission. It is axially displaceable along the axis of rotation D between a connected position where it is inserted into the central bore (33) of the other of the two shafts (32), and a released position, where it is pulled out of the central bore (33) of the other of the two shafts (32).

  • Patent number: 7261636
Abstract: A drive in an agricultural machinery driveline has a drive housing (1), which forms an interior (18), and is at least partially filled with lubricant. A first shaft (4) is rotatably supported in the drive housing (1) around a longitudinal axis (13) and is guided out of the interior (18). First longitudinal teeth (8) connect, in a rotationally fast way, to a second shaft (9) via a second longitudinal teeth (10) formed to complement the first longitudinal teeth (8). One of the two shafts (4) has a receiving bore (5) arranged coaxially relative to the longitudinal axis (13). The bore (5) has longitudinal teeth (8) which enable insertion of the other shaft (9) by its longitudinal teeth (10). A lubricant guiding mechanism (19, 22, 29) is in the first shaft (4) or in the drive housing (1). In the connected condition of the two shafts (4, 9), the guiding mechanism connects the interior (18) to the receiving bore (5), as well as a valve (25).

  • Patent number: 7018296
Abstract: A gear drive has a drive housing (1, 2) with a driveshaft (3) exiting the drive housing (1, 2) through a bore (10). The driveshaft 13 is rotatably supported in the drive housing (1, 2) around an axis of rotation X—X. A connecting shaft (7) is arranged inside the drive housing (1, 2). The connecting shaft (7) is connected in a rotationally fast way to a drive gear (35). A torque limiting coupling (4) is arranged inside the drive housing (1, 2). The input end of the torque limiting coupling (4) is connected to the driveshaft (3). The output end of the torque limiting coupling (4) is connected to the connecting shaft (7). The driveshaft (3) and the connecting shaft (7) are supported relative to one another by a radial bearing (30). The gear drive ensures that the driveshaft (3) and the connecting shaft (7) can more easily accommodate bending moments and transverse forces.

  • Patent number: 6540055
Abstract: A driving arrangement with a free-wheel coupling has a coupling sleeve (1) and a coupling hub (10) rotatably supported in the coupling sleeve (1). Both are connected, via locking pawls (24), so that, during driving of the coupling hub (10), a slaving of the coupling sleeve (1) takes place. However, a faster rotation of the coupling sleeve (1) is allowed so that the coupling sleeve (1) can overtake the coupling hub (10). Belleville springs (25, 29) achieve a breaking effect with large lagging masses. The Belleville springs (25, 29) are kept non-rotational relative to the coupling hub (10) and are supported on the end faces (8, 9) of the coupling sleeve (1). The Belleville springs (25, 29) are pre-tensioned by means of a friction face (26).

  • Patent number: 6152827
Abstract: A switchable claw coupling has two rotatably arranged coupling parts (2, 3). One of said coupling parts (3) is axially movable. To reduce the loads on the claws (20, 21) during the coupling operation, the coupling part 3 has a cam (22). The cam (22) at its end face is able to slide on a supporting face 28 of the other coupling part (2). A recess (23), in the supporting face (28), is engaged by the cam (22) to enable engagement within only a limited range.

  • Patent number: 5582065
Abstract: A drive assembly has two bevel gear angle drives (9, 10) for driving an agricultural implement (2) via a tractor power take-off shaft. The assembly has a pivot bearing (11) which effects a pivotable connection between the two bevel gear angle drives (9, 10). To improve the bearing conditions between the two bevel gear angle drives (9, 10) the two housings (22, 23) of the bevel gear angle drives (9, 10) are provided with bearing sleeves (24, 25). The bearing sleeves (24, 25), in the fitted condition, project into the interior (34) of a housing (23), to reduce the axial distance between the two connecting journals (13, 16) associated with the bevel gears (41, 43) which engage the bevel gears (49, 57) arranged on the connecting shaft (67), thus improving the force receiving conditions.

  • Patent number: 5462131
Abstract: A device which attaches an agricultural implement (2) to a tractor (1), and in addition, establishes a driving connection between the power take-off shaft of the tractor and the drive of the implement has, for this purpose, a drive unit (8) which includes two bevel gear angle drives (9, 10) arranged one above the other. One of the drives (9, 10) is firmly connected to the drawbar of the implement with the other one connectable to the lower steering arm of the tractor by an attaching stirrup (12). The attaching system allows the tractor and implement to pivot relative to one another around a vertical axis (25), a transverse axis (26) and a longitudinal axis (27). To achieve pivotability relative to the drive unit (8) around the longitudinal axis (27), the attaching stirrup (12) is supported by a sleeve (47) on a flange housing (39) which is arranged coaxially relative to the first connecting journal (20) of the drive unit (39) thereby achieving an improvement in the transmission of towing forces.
