  • Publication number: 20240103153
Abstract: Disclosed is a distance measuring system for measuring distance of a first transceiver from second transceivers, comprising the first transceiver having a first time zone, a second transceiver having a second time zone, and a control unit having a control-unit time zone. The second transceiver ascertains a time-zone relationship between the second transceiver and the first transceiver, and transmits the time-zone relationship to the control unit. The control unit receives the time-zone relationship, and ascertains, using the received time-zone relationship, a time-zone relationship between the control-unit time zone and the first transceiver. The first transceiver transmits at a defined instant in time or for a defined time period of the first time zone a distance measurement command to the second transceiver. The first transceiver transmits a measurement signal at a further defined instant in time, and the second transceiver switches from an inactive into an active receiving or measuring state.

  • Patent number: 9042510
Abstract: An image processing device of a computer tomography system includes an interface and a calibration data determiner. The interface is implemented to receive a first set of X-ray recordings of an object to be examined from first discrete recording angles and to receive a second set of X-ray recordings of the object to be examined from second discrete recording angles. The calibration data determiner is implemented to determine calibration data for the computer tomography system on the basis of the first set. The first set is further recorded during a first rotation run wherein the computer tomography system and the object to be examined rotate relative to each other, wherein the second set is recorded during at least a further rotation run after the first rotation run. On the basis of the calibration data and the first and second sets a computer tomography recording is reconstructable.

  • Patent number: 6616150
Abstract: A ride leveler system in vehicles with an adjustable wheel suspension device between a vehicle wheel and the vehicle body, with a height sensor for measuring the actual height between the vehicle wheel and the vehicle body, and with an electronic control device which specifies a target height and adjusts the wheel suspension device until the attainment of the target height. If there is a deviation between target and actual height, the electronic control device adjusts the wheel suspension device for a minimum period of time independent of the course of the actual height. Following expiration of the minimum control time, the adjustment is switched off at a point in time at which the measured actual height has attained the value of the target height for the first time.

  • Patent number: 6488220
Abstract: The fuel injection valve is in particular a component of a reservoir fuel injection system and has a valve body and an electric control valve that controls the pressure which prevails in a control pressure chamber and acts at least indirectly on an injection valve member in its closing direction, wherein the control pressure chamber is connected to a high-pressure fuel source and can be connected by the control valve to a discharge chamber in order to open at least one injection opening. The control pressure chamber is embodied in a sleeve-shaped section of an insert piece inserted into the valve body and is connected to an inlet bore in the valve body by means of an annular chamber encompassing the section and a connecting bore provided in the valve body. The connecting bore intersects the inlet bore at an obtuse angle (&agr;) in a region that is offset from the annular chamber in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the valve body.
