  • Patent number: 9937483
Abstract: Isophoronediamine, is prepared by A) subjecting isophoronenitrile directly in one stage to aminating hydrogenation to give isophoronediamine in the presence of ammonia, hydrogen, a hydrogenation catalyst and an optional additive, and in the presence or absence of an organic solvent; or B) first converting isophoronenitrile fully or partly in at least two or more than two stages to isophoronenitrile imine, and subjecting the isophoronenitrile imine to aminating hydrogenation to give isophoronediamine as a pure substance or in a mixture with another component and/or isophoronenitrile, in the presence of at least ammonia, hydrogen and a catalyst.

  • Publication number: 20170226044
Abstract: Trimethylhexamethylenediamine is produced by hydrogenating a trimethylhexamethylenedinitrile-comprising mixture in the presence of at least ammonia and hydrogen and a catalyst in the presence or absence of solvent, wherein the catalyst has the following properties: I. after activation the catalyst in its entirety has the following composition in weight percent (wt %), wherein the proportions add up to 100 wt %, based on the metals present: cobalt: 55 to 95 wt %, aluminum: 5 to 45 wt %, chromium: 0 to 3 wt %, and nickel: 0 to 7 wt %, and II. the catalyst is present in the form of irregular particles as granulate and after activation has particle sizes of 1 to 8 mm.

  • Patent number: 6566558
Abstract: In a process for the hydroformylation of alkanes, alkenes or trialkylboranes under supercritical or near-critical conditions, hydroformylation is effected using a heterogeneous catalyst in a continuous flow reactor containing a supercritical or near-critical reaction medium. Selectivity of product formation may be achieved by independently varying one of more of the temperature, pressure, catalyst, mole ratios of hydrogen and carbon monoxide and flow rate.

  • Publication number: 20020151751
Abstract: A process for the preparation of substituted amines by catalytic hydrogenation of substituted organic nitro compounds with hydrogen or hydrogen-containing gas mixtures in the presence of a shaped Raney catalyst as the hydrogenation catalyst, wherein the Raney catalyst is in the form of hollow bodies or shell-activated tablets. Nickel, cobalt, copper, iron, platinum, palladium or ruthenium are preferably used as catalytically active constituents.
