  • Patent number: 10495154
Abstract: A device for transmitting a torque between an internal combustion engine and a generator has a motor-side shaft, a generator-side shaft, a separate transmission element for transmitting the torque between the two shafts, and a seal device. The motor-side shaft and the generator-side shaft are situated in each case substantially coaxially with respect to one another and are in each case connected by way of a shaft-hub connection to the transmission element, wherein a lubricant chamber which is situated radially outside the transmission element and between the motor-side shaft and the generator-side shaft and which couples the two shaft-hub connections with regard to a flow of lubricant is sealed off with respect to the outside by the seal device.

Date of Patent: December 3, 2019
    Assignee: Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Hans Hohenner, Stefan Rudert, Daniel Stopper, Ingo Beuck

  • Patent number: 8230837
Abstract: In a valve drive train actuating device, particularly for an internal combustion engine, having at least one firing camshaft, which can be phase shifted relative to a crankshaft by a firing camshaft adjusting device and a decompression brake device comprising at least one brake cam and at least one decompression valve, the valve drive train actuating device comprises an adjusting device for adjusting a decompression valve drive actuating point in time depending on the speed of the crankshaft of the engine such that, with decreasing speed of the crankshaft, the brake cam actuating point is moved toward the upper dead center position of the crankshaft.

  • Patent number: 8136491
Abstract: In a stroke-transmitting device for a variable transmission of an operating stroke to a member to be actuated, specifically a gas exchange valve for an internal combustion engine, including a control unit with first and second control structures, a control cam is provided for coupling the first and second control structures and having different control regions which are displaceable for an adjustment of the stroke of the member to be actuated with at least first and second degrees of freedom for controlling the stroke transmitted to the member to be actuated.
