    Abstract: The present invention provides a process for the esterification of unsaturated carboxylic acids with unsaturated alcohols, which is characterized in that esterification is performed in the presence of sterically hindered phenols and partially esterified phosphoric acids. The process according to the invention in particular avoids discoloration (blackening) of the resultant esterification products.
