The wheelchair including a frame, a seat situated within the frame, two drive wheels mounted to the frame at wheel axles and at least one steerable wheel. Each axle connected to a fitting removably coupled to the frame, with the fitting mounted to at least one support plate whose thickness varies around the circumference to position the fitting and axle at an angle. The support plate rotatable to change the angle of the fitting and axle and thereby correct wheel track error. The support plate mountable to a bracket pivotally mounted to the frame, such that pivoting movement of the bracket results in rotation of the support plates.

Abstract: An arrangement for receiving and setting a wheel axle for a drive wheel of a wheelchair, with an adapter (1) for adjusting the wheel camber, characterized in that the adapter (1) has a receiving bore (2) for the wheel axle, extends longitudinally approximately in the direction of this bore (2) and, to set the camber, can be attached removably to the wheelchair frame (9) in the desired position and is able to slide crosswise to the wheelchair frame (9) on a path running in a segmental arch.

Abstract: The invention relates to an arresting brake for a wheelchair, having a braking element which is articulated pivotably on a retaining element and, by pivoting a hand brake lever, can be pivoted into an arresting position in which the braking element bears, under pressure, on a wheelchair wheel or its tire. In order to provide a versatile arresting brake for wheelchairs, the invention proposes that the hand brake lever also be mounted on the retaining element, which is pivotably suspended on an adaptor which exhibits fastening device, for fixing it on the wheelchair frame, and a pivot pin which is located in the longitudinal direction of the wheelchair when the adaptor is mounted and about which the retaining element can be pivoted out of a positive locking catch position, which defines the braking function position, into a storage (rest) position located within the outer contour of the wheelchair.
