  • Patent number: 9632147
Abstract: A method for testing multiple spatially distributed protective devices of an energy supply network. Each of the protective devices is configured to, in the event of a fault occurring in the energy supply network, isolate the fault in the energy supply network. The method comprises: producing an initial test sequence; outputting of the test sequence to the protective devices; detecting outputs of the protective devices that the protective devices output on the basis of the test sequence; analyzing the outputs and generation of inputs for the protective devices depending on the outputs. If the inputs are not part of the test sequence, these inputs are incorporated into the test sequence and the outputting step proceeds. Otherwise, all outputs of the protective devices are evaluated. Each test sequence comprises inputs in the form of process variables of the energy supply network for at least one of the protective devices.

  • Publication number: 20160003921
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for testing multiple spatially distributed protective devices (SE1, SE2) of an energy supply network (3). Each of the protective devices (SE1, SE2) is configured so as to, in the event of a fault (5) occurring in the energy supply network (3), isolate the fault (5) in the energy supply network (3). The method comprises the following steps: a: production of an initial test sequence. b: outputting of the test sequence to the protective devices (SE1, SE2). c: detection of outputs of the protective devices (SE1, SE2) that the protective devices (SE1, SE2) output on the basis of the test sequence. d: analysis of the outputs and generation of inputs for the protective devices (SE1, SE2) depending on the outputs. If the inputs are not part of the test sequence, these inputs are incorporated into the test sequence and step b is proceeded with, while otherwise step e is proceeded with. e: evaluation of all outputs of the protective devices (SE1, SE2).

  • Publication number: 20130064772
Abstract: Provided are wound caring compositions and devices containing a pH-sensitive, preferably acid degradable, components contained in a water-permeable and hydronium ion permeable material. The pH-sensitive component encloses an antibiotic which is released to the wound upon infection by a microorganism at the wound site, and/or encloses a pH indicator. The antibiotic release is triggered by the microorganism's production of CO2 at the wound site which forms carbonic acid, lowers the pH at the pH sensitive components, and thus results in rupture of the liposome.

  • Patent number: 7987297
Abstract: An electrical field device has a microprocessor-controlled control device, a data memory which is inside the device and is connected to the control device via a first memory controller, and a data interface which is connected to the control device and is intended to connect external devices to the electrical field device. In order to ensure access to the data memory inside such a field device even when the control device or internal power supply device is not in working order, the data interface is connected to the data memory inside the device via a second memory controller. There is also disclosed a method for establishing a data link between a data interface of an electrical field device and a data memory inside the device.

  • Publication number: 20080201582
Abstract: A method for adjusting an electric field device in order to simplify its operation includes the following steps: an electronic control unit of the field device identifies an external data storage module that is connected to the field device; the electronic control unit reads personal data allocated to a user of the data storage module out of the external data storage module; the electronic control unit makes adjustments on the field device based on the personal data that has been read.

  • Patent number: 7149968
Abstract: A method is provided for the simultaneous non-overlapping representation of at least further data visualization window in addition to a first established data visualization window in the display area of a monitor. The method allows arrangement of at least one further data visualization window in the display area of a monitor while maintaining the aspect ratio and the size thereof, beside a first data visualization window. Free rectangular areas of the first data visualization window are detected in the display area and are filed in a list with their characteristic data. The area of the free rectangular areas and their aspect ration and the aspect ration of the first data visualization window are taken into consideration for the determination of the optimizing variable. The additional data visualization window is positioned in the rectangular area with a priority in the derived list.
