    Abstract: The present invention relates to optical articles coupled to polarized laminate films. Optic properties, production methods, and compositions of component film layers were examined. Film layer criteria were selected that results in laminate films with particular optic properties. Lamination of optical elements with the inventive laminate films results in improved transmission and clarity through the optical elements.
