  • Patent number: 11692969
Abstract: An apparatus for determining magnetic properties of a portion of a magnetizable endless belt. The apparatus includes a primary coil for generating a magnetic field. The windings of the primary coil are wound around the endless belt. A secondary coil measures the magnetic flux density. A slotted yoke guides the magnetic flux. The endless belt extends through slots in the yoke. First measuring devices measure the magnetic field in a width portion parallel to the endless belt. Second measuring devices measure the magnetic field in the width portion parallel to the endless belt.

  • Publication number: 20180268363
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for a single job backorder processing using prioritized requirements. Data comprising a plurality of requirements associated with an availability check is received. Each requirement comprises a confirmation strategy including a check prioritizer. The plurality of requirements are sorted in a hierarchical order based on the check prioritizer and the confirmation strategy. A cluster is determined based on the sorted plurality of requirements. The cluster is iteratively evaluated with availability data stored in a remote data store to determine availability of the cluster. Result analytics corresponding to the availability of the cluster are provided.

  • Patent number: 9275366
Abstract: Example systems and methods of extracting and processing data are described. In one implementation, a method accesses genealogy data (which includes a root node) associated with multiple data sources. The genealogy data is expanded from the root node. The method identifies data objects associated with the genealogy data and identifies a simplification rule to apply to the genealogy data. Data objects in the genealogy data that satisfy the simplification rule are identified by the method. A simplified representation of the genealogy data is generated by replacing each identified data object with a link to a predecessor data object.

  • Patent number: 8942839
Abstract: The description refers to a method, computer program product, and computer system for displaying a chart for production planning. The chart includes a timeline, a material area associated with each of one or more materials and a resource area associated with each of one or more resources. The chart also includes a material sufficiency indicator provided within one or more of the material areas to indicate whether or not a sufficient amount of the associated material is available at one or more identified times to meet a demand of the one or more scheduled operations. The chart includes a scheduling hint that is displayed within a material area when an operation identifier has been selected. The scheduling hint identifies one or more portions within the material area for a material as providing either sufficient material or insufficient material for performance of the operation associated with the selected operation identifier.

  • Patent number: 8688547
Abstract: A system and method schedule manufacturing of a product by a requested availability date. Sources of supply are selected for a given material to be used for manufacturing the product. A check is then performed for each source of supply to ensure that a valid-to date of the source of supply is equal or later than a plan start date. Lead times for sources of supply are calculated having a valid-to date equal or later than a plan start date. A source of supply is selected as a function of a validity interval of the source and a validity date.

  • Publication number: 20110307353
Abstract: A business object model, which reflects data that is used during a given business transaction, is utilized to generate interfaces. This business object model facilitates commercial transactions by providing consistent interfaces that are suitable for use across industries, across businesses, and across different departments within a business during a business transaction. In some operations, software creates, updates, or otherwise processes information related to a goods tag, a production bill of material hierarchy, and/or a release order template business object.

  • Publication number: 20090171736
Abstract: Methods, systems, and software for determining sources of supply are provided. The system for determining sources of supply is centralized so as to be accessible to a plurality of clients. Sources of supply may be determined and the results prioritized according to user defined criteria. Specifically, the system may offer or facilitate a reusable, centralized service that can data mine sources of supply, which are stored in a business object. These sources of supply may include transportation lane, purchase contract, scheduling agreement, material costing, and any other suitable sources of supply. In some cases, this example system can assign priorities to centralized sources of supply that may help make decisions easier for the planner.

  • Publication number: 20070050233
Abstract: A computer system and method for synchronizing sales order confirmations and material flow determinations in a supply chain management (SCM) environment. For example, a method according to one embodiment of the invention comprises: receiving an indication of a new sales order having associated therewith a desired quantity and a desired delivery date; determining whether the desired quantity can be promised by the desired delivery date based on current receipts; and generating a fixed pegging relationship between the new sales order and receipts identified to satisfy the sales order if the desired quantity can be promised by the desired date.

  • Publication number: 20060015522
Abstract: A method for providing a planning framework for use in managing a material flow of products in a supply chain. According to the method, subsequent instances of said material flow are associated with linked documents in a document flow. In a prior document, first relations are established identifying one or more dependent documents, for producing one or more products in a next instance of said material flow. Said prior document is converted into said next document in a forward way. According to the invention, the method comprises establishing in said next document the first relations identifying said one or more dependent documents, so as to convert said next document into said prior document in a reverse way. In this way, fixed relations can be preserved between product requirements and products while changing the material flow.
