  • Publication number: 20240035235
Abstract: A method is for producing a wet-running friction paper, at least containing a fiber fraction consisting of at least one type of fiber, a fraction of at least one filler, and a fraction of a binder based on phenol resin. The fiber fraction, the filler fraction and the binder dissolved as a phenolate solution are processed together in a paper production process to form a pulp, and the binder is subsequently precipitated by means of a precipitating agent, preferably diluted sulfuric acid, and the pulp applied to a long screen is dried and cured while the temperature is raised.

  • Publication number: 20230375057
Abstract: A friction part for a frictionally operating device includes an annular-disc-like friction surface rotatable about a rotational axis in a wet-running manner relative to a mating surface. The annular-disc-like friction surface is formed from a paper material and includes a meso-geometric or a micro-geometric uneven portion in order to create an axially deep friction region and an axially high friction region in the annular-disc-like friction surface. The axially high friction region is more strongly preloaded than the axially deep friction region when the annular-disc-like friction surface and the mating surface are axially pressed together.
