  • Patent number: 12522047
Abstract: A method for adjusting external air intake in an interior of a vehicle involves continuously identifying an interior pollution level during a driving operation of the vehicle using recorded signals of a pollution sensor arranged in the interior. A pollution level of external air on a section of road ahead of the vehicle is predicted and the external air intake is automatically regulated depending on the predicted pollution level of the external air.

  • Patent number: 12522235
Abstract: A method for operating an assistance system for a motor vehicle involves providing a configuration set personalized for a user of the assistance system in an electronic computing device of the assistance system for at least one functional unit of the motor vehicle. The personalized configuration set is set by the electronic computing device depending on a triggering criterion. The user is identified as the trigger criterion by a first sensor device and/or a predetermined piece of information relating to the motor vehicle is detected as the trigger criterion by a second sensor device.

  • Publication number: 20250322699
Abstract: Vehicle data for the use of vehicle-external services is anonymized. Within a fleet of vehicles of the same type with a diverse group of vehicle users, a first variable, which is at least indirectly dependent on an integer number n of recorded vehicle sensor values, and a second variable, which is at least indirectly dependent on an integer number m of current vehicle sensor values, is recorded for each of the vehicles. Similarities are determined for at least one of the variables of several or all vehicles in the fleet, after which the vehicles are then categorized into a class that is similar in terms of the similarity of the at least one variable or into a dissimilar class. If a vehicle-external service is requested, a computed variable from the corresponding variables of several vehicles from the class of the similar vehicles or an artificially generated similar variable is transmitted.

  • Patent number: 12444206
Abstract: A method involves classifying a respective object, which has been recognized by an object recognition device of the vehicle and initially classified as not relevant to the vehicle, as potentially relevant if it is recognized by a gaze recording device in the vehicle that a gaze of at least one vehicle occupant of the vehicle lingers on the respective object for longer than a predetermined minimum duration. Using a recorded gaze direction of the at least one vehicle occupant, it is determined that a respective moving object classified as potentially relevant is tracked by the at least one vehicle occupant for at least a predetermined duration. A trajectory of the respective recorded and moving object classified as potentially relevant to the vehicle is identified as being relevant to the safety of the vehicle after the predetermined duration has elapsed if it is necessary for the vehicle to react to the respective object.

  • Publication number: 20250282395
Abstract: A vehicle has a recommendation system, which includes a data collection module, a prediction module, and a recommendation module. The data collection module collects vehicle data, surroundings data, and/or environmental data. The prediction module reads a driver profile from a multitude of driver profiles, each driver profile including a machine learning model trained specifically for the respective driver profile set up to read the vehicle data, surroundings data, and/or environmental data at least for a route portion lying ahead and to issue a predictive indication value as an output variable. The recommendation module compares the predictive indication value to an indication threshold value and prompts a recommendation to be issued for a person driving the vehicle or a driver assistance system to take over vehicle control depending on the position of the predictive indication value in relation to the indication threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20230095245
Abstract: A method adapts vehicle functionality that is automatically carried out by an assistance system. In a method in which misunderstandings between driver and vehicle are prevented in predetermined driving situations, when the driver aborts the automatically carried out functionality, this abortion is recorded and saved. If the abortion frequency exceeds a predetermined threshold value, the aborted functionality is replaced by a modified or new functionality.
