  • Publication number: 20070282781
Abstract: A method to retrieve and/or access information about an equipment, plant or process in a facility including a plurality of devices and one or more control systems for process monitoring and control, wherein energy-related information and other data for each said device is stored in a the control system. A software entity is configured with an identity of a selected the equipment, plant or process. Information associated with the equipment, plant or process is retrieve with the configured software entity. At least information about a new event or alarm for the device and/or the location of the equipment, plant or process about to a user is presented or displayed.

  • Patent number: 7231943
Abstract: A power weaving loom includes weft thread insertion and collecting bands (6, 7). Drive units drive the bands and cause leading parts of the bands to move towards and away from one another between sides of the weaving machine and an approximately half-width position (13) of the machine. The bands include grippers (6b, 7b), which allow the weft thread to be drawn from a first side of the machine to the approximately half-width position and then to a second side of the machine. The drive units include servomotors which are coordinated to act upon the bands via motion-transmitting members with a torque that allows inward and return motions of the bands during brief shedding times, thus providing high machine picking speeds even in machines of great width.

  • Publication number: 20050186659
Abstract: The present invention relates to process for the production of a soluble polypeptide having at least one ligand binding site, the process comprising (i) providing a host cell comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding the soluble polypeptide; (ii) culturing the host cell under conditions whereby the polypeptide is produced, wherein the cell culture medium comprises a non-proteinaceous ligand capable of binding to a ligand binding site of the polypeptide; and (iii) recovering said polypeptide.

  • Publication number: 20040261881
Abstract: A power weaving loom works with weft thread (1) insertion and collecting bands (6, 7). Drive units are designed to drive the bands and each comprise two or more servomotors which by way of motion-transmitting members (8, 9) at each shedding cause leading parts of the bands to move towards and away from one another between the sides (4, 5) of the machine and an approximately half-width position (13) on the machine. The bands are provided with grippers (6b, 7b), by means of which the weft thread can first be drawn in from the first side of the machine to an approximately half-width position on the machine and then from this position to the second side of the machine. The servomotors are designed in a co-ordinated function to act upon the band via the motion-transmitting member with a torque which permits inward and return movements of each band during the said brief shedding times.

  • Publication number: 20030118451
Abstract: A body (1) of permanent magnetic material is arranged to be able to move freely back and forth in the liquid flow in the pump outlet (3), the position of the body being decided by the intensity of the flow. A tongue element (4), which is located in a room separated from the pump outlet (3) by a wall, is influenced by the magnetic field from the body (1) and can thereby detect the position of the body and consequently the intensity of the flow. This knowledge is used to stop the energy supply of the pump motor when the intensity of the flow reaches a certain minimum value.

  • Publication number: 20030082631
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for identifying compounds capable of binding the ligand binding domain of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPAR&ggr;), and selectively modulating the activity of PPAR&ggr;. The said method includes providing compounds that fit spatially and preferentially into a PPAR&ggr; ligand binding domain having the pharmacophoric features shown in Table I in the patent specification.

  • Patent number: 6536789
Abstract: A vehicle suspension attachment assembly 10 including a spring 17, a pair of spring seats 16, 18 which are coupled to the spring 17, a bushing 25 which is coupled to seat 16, and an attachment member 24 which is received by the seat 16 and the bushing 25 and which is substantially concentric to the seat 16 and to the bushing 25, thereby reducing the overall packaging requirements of a vehicle suspension 12 incorporating the assembly 10.
