  • Patent number: 11852695
Abstract: An arrangement and a process for monitoring an electrical safety interlock, based on the task of providing a solution with which affordable and robust monitoring in a safety interlock is facilitated and the overall complexity of the circuitry is reduced. This task is resolved on the arrangement side by the separate circuit being connected to a signal generation and evaluation unit that generates a continuous and value-discrete signal. On the process side, the task is resolved by the monitoring of the circuit being performed using a continuous and value-discrete signal, which is provided by a signal generation and evaluation unit and whose transfer via the circuit is evaluated by the signal generation and evaluation unit.

  • Publication number: 20230318444
Abstract: An arrangement and a method for discharging a DC link capacitor, is based on the object of specifying a solution with which the DC link capacitor is discharged to values below the safety extra-low voltage within a specified time in the event of a hazard or malfunction, for example, if the high-voltage supply is disconnected or interrupted, and with which the lowest possible power loss results from the arrangement during normal operation. This object is achieved by the arrangement in that the means which discharges the DC link capacitor is a controllable discharge means which is constructed from a series circuit of a discharge resistor and a controllable resistor, and wherein the controllable discharge means is arranged parallel to the DC link capacitor.

  • Patent number: 11329545
Abstract: The invention, which relates to a choke arrangement (1) for application in an EMC filter, has as its objective specifying a choke arrangement (1) that is mechanically robust and that enables improved insulation of the windings (4, 5). The objective is attained by disposing about the toroidal core (10) a two-part enclosure (15) and by disposing an insulation web (19) in the two-part enclosure (15).

  • Patent number: 10615767
Abstract: The invention which relates to an EMC filter (1) addresses the problem of specifying an EMC filter (1) that is simple of structure, cost-effective and temperature resistant. This problem is resolved thereby that the core of the choke (4, 5) is comprised of one or two core parts (10), that at least one first planar or convex heat transfer area (23) is located on an outside of the core and that the core with this first planar or convex heat transfer area (23) is disposed on a housing (12) of the refrigerant compressor, wherein the housing (12) in the region of the first planar or convex heat transfer area (23) is implemented planar or concave.

  • Publication number: 20160380557
Abstract: An assembly and a method for discharging a high voltage circuit of a power inverter which can automatically detect, when connection to the power inverter is interrupted, a dangerous state due to high energy accumulated in the power inverter and remove the danger as rapid as possible, and which can reduce power loss and the number of required corresponding components. The assembly includes a logic unit. The logic unit includes first input units which are coupled to a voltage sensor and a current sensor, and an output unit which outputs a discharge control signal. The output unit is coupled to an input unit of a means for triggering circuit breakers. The means for triggering the circuit breakers includes output units for outputting a driver signal. The output units are coupled to at least one of the circuit breakers of the half bridge.
