  • Publication number: 20260217025
Abstract: Printhead for an inkjet printer, wherein the printhead comprises at least one ink supply channel and at least one nozzle with a nozzle channel and an inflow opening, wherein ink from the ink supply channel can be pressed through the inflow opening into the nozzle channel and ejected therefrom, wherein the nozzle is arranged in a stationary manner on a sidewall of the ink supply channel and the at least one nozzle is assigned a plunger having a plunger front face located in the ink supply channel opposite and spaced from the inflow opening, wherein the printhead comprises first means for moving the plunger front face in the ink supply channel between a reversal point (U1) minimally spaced from the inflow opening of the nozzle and a reversal point (U2) maximally spaced from the inflow opening of the nozzle, the first means limiting the movement of the plunger front face to a movement between the reversal points (U1, U2), and second means for applying a negative pressure to the ink in the ink supply channel rela

  • Publication number: 20240239009
Abstract: A method for coating at least one printing medium, in particular a ceramic printing medium, including the steps of (a) providing at least one coating head with a fluid supply channel, a plurality of nozzles, each having a nozzle channel and an inflow opening, which form the connection of the respective nozzle channels to the fluid supply channel, wherein the respective nozzles are arranged in a stationary manner on a side wall of the fluid supply channel; (b) filling the fluid supply channel with liquid fluid; (c) transporting the at least one printing medium along a transport direction; (d) applying a respective overpressure relative to the atmospheric pressure to the liquid fluid, at least in the area of each inflow opening of the nozzles, at least during the time intervals in which the at least one printing medium is to be coated in such a way that the liquid fluid is applied in the form of continuous columnar fluid jets to the at least one printing medium, wherein according to (e), during the time interva

  • Patent number: 9735657
Abstract: An actuator includes two abutment elements and an adjusting device for changing their spacing in a translational displacement direction. A support element is provided between the abutment elements, a drive motor is supported by the support element, a first spindle nut is rotatably supported by the support element, a second spindle nut is rotatably supported by the support element, a first spindle engages the first spindle nut and is connected to one abutment element, and a second spindle engages the second spindle nut and is connected to the other abutment element. Two limit switches are mounted on a switch support on the support element and spaced apart from each other in the translational displacement direction. A first limit switch actuating element is attached to one of the abutment elements, and a second limit switch actuating element is attached to one of the spindles.
