  • Patent number: 11855682
Abstract: A system and method of resolving a time ambiguity in a receiver based on a received radio signal. The radio signal includes a first signal component and a second signal component. The first and second signal components include code symbols having durations of time The system and method include acquiring each of the signal components, and performing code symbol synchronization and/or code synchronization for each of the codes. The system and method further include estimating a code phase offset between the synchronized codes, or a code-symbol phase offset between the synchronized code symbols. Finally, the system and method include resolving the time ambiguity of the receiver within a time period based on the time-dependent code phase offset or the time-dependent code-symbol phase offset.

  • Publication number: 20230065422
Abstract: The invention concerns a method of resolving a time ambiguity in a receiver based on a received radio signal. The radio signal comprises a first signal component and a second signal component. The first signal component comprises a first code of X1 code symbols, the first code having a duration of C1 units of time, wherein each of the code symbols has a duration of St units of time. Likewise, the second signal component comprises a second code of X2 code symbols, the second code having a duration of C2 units of time, wherein each of the code symbols has a duration of S2 units of time. Either, the code duration C1 of the first signal component and the code duration C2 of the second signal component are chosen such that the start or the end of the first code and the second code have a reference code phase offset of D units of time every 2 N units of time, wherein 2N is equivalent to the least common multiple of C1 and C2.

  • Publication number: 20230060018
Abstract: A support device of a front end module of a vehicle is provided for fastening the front end module to a vehicle structure. The support device has a frame component. The frame component is provided for attaching a bumper cover and/or a decorative grille and for attaching at least one sensor. The support device has at least one movement device by which the frame component can move relative to the vehicle structure. A vehicle includes the support device and a vehicle structure, wherein the support device is mounted on the vehicle structure via the at least one movement device so that, in the event of an impact at low speed, the support device moves in the direction of the vehicle structure and, after the impact, moves away from the vehicle structure again into its initial position.

  • Patent number: 11166357
Abstract: The invention relates to an electronic database (101) having entries for a plurality of operating devices (151) and a plurality of lamps (152), which electronic database is searched on the basis of a query (115). The query (115) indicates a light characteristic. On the basis of the search of the electronic database (101), a combination of a selected operating device and a selected lamp is determined and an electrical operating point of the selected operating device is determined. Then, an output (116) is provided, which indicates the selected operating device, the selected lamp and the determined operating point.

  • Patent number: 10088573
Abstract: One embodiment of the invention provides a receiver for use in a navigation system comprising multiple transmitters. Each transmitter transmits a positioning signal comprising a pseudo-random noise (PRN) sequence corresponding to the respective transmitter. The receiver comprises a code module for supplying multiple PRN sequences corresponding to the respective multiple transmitters; and a correlator for correlating the PRN sequences supplied by the code module with an incoming signal. The multiple PRN sequences are based on a single Sidelnikov/Lempel/Cohn/Eastman (SLCE) generative sequence uSLCE, and each of said multiple PRN sequences, denoted ui satisfies the equation: ui=uSLCE?TiuSLCE, where ? indicates element by element binary XOR addition, and Ti indicates a cyclic shift of i chips.

  • Patent number: 8814750
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling a creep mode of a vehicle comprising a hybrid drive (1), a drive train (2) which essentially comprises an internal combustion engine (3), an electric machine (5), a gear-shift element (4) arranged between the internal combustion engine (3) and the electric machine (5), a transmission (7) and a power take-off (26). The aim of the invention is to allow an efficient creep mode which is substantially temporally unlimited and reliable and wherein an electrical energy storage device (14) is used as little as possible. The method according to the invention is characterized in that primarily the gear-shift element (4) is used when the internal combustion engine (3) is running and secondarily, depending on a monitoring of defined operation parameters of the gear-shift element (4) and/or of variables relevant for the creep mode, the electric machine (5) is used to implement the creep mode.
