  • Publication number: 20240118123
Abstract: For calibrating high frequency based field devices, a first switching unit is provided between the antenna arrangement and the transmission amplifier and receiving amplifier of the field device. For ascertaining the corresponding calibration factors, the first switching unit can assume switch positions at which the signal production unit and/or the evaluation unit are/is connected with the antenna arrangement, and at which the transmission path and/or the receiving path are/is connected with an attenuation element via which the transmission path is connectable with the receiving path. An evaluation unit of the field device ascertains at least at these switch positions the corresponding characteristic variable to use these in the later measurement operation as calibration factors. Advantageous with this kind of calibration of the invention is that possible couplings of the amplifiers are compensable.

  • Patent number: 11925742
Abstract: A device includes a processor and a non-transitory memory having processor-executable instructions stored thereon. The device is usable with a blood treatment apparatus, such as a hemodialysis machine. The processor-executable instructions, when executed by the processor, facilitate: determining a time point with regard to puncturing a vessel of a patient, wherein puncturing the vessel of the patient is related to a blood treatment for the patient using a blood treatment apparatus; determining a time period based on the determined time point; and transmitting data related to the determined time point and/or data related to the determined time period to a receiving device.

  • Patent number: 11443849
Abstract: Concerted processing of a multiplicity of local apparatus status messages from dialysis apparatuses can be performed to enhance the quality of patient care delivered using the dialysis apparatuses. Typically, the dialysis apparatuses are operated in a group. A control agent, as described herein, performs a central calculation of prioritised warning messages for the group of dialysis apparatuses. The prioritisation is calculated in a concerted calculation according to a preconfigured system of rules.
