  • Publication number: 20240123889
Abstract: A system for connecting an actuator between a dump body and a chassis of a truck includes a cradle assembly for connecting the actuator to the chassis, and a hoist bracket assembly for connecting the actuator to the dump body. At least one of the cradle assembly and the hoist bracket assembly includes a set of bushings for receiving the actuator therebetween and for connecting the actuator to the at least one of the cradle assembly and the hoist bracket assembly. The set of bushings is selected based on the actuator to be connected to the at least one of the cradle assembly and the hoist bracket assembly. Methods for connecting an actuator between a dump body and a chassis of a truck are also provided. A hinge assembly for pivotally connecting a dump body to a chassis of a truck is also provided.

  • Patent number: 11312214
Abstract: A system for assembling a door to a vehicle container having first and second pillars includes a first base adapted for connection to a top portion of the first pillar, a second base adapted for connection to a top portion of the second pillar, and a hinge assembly adapted for pivotally connecting the door to the vehicle container. The hinge assembly is adapted to be removably connected to the first and second bases and to the door. The hinge assembly is selected from first and second hinge assemblies. When the first hinge assembly pivotally connects the door to the vehicle container, the door has a first pivoting configuration. When the second hinge assembly pivotally connects the door to the vehicle container, the door has a second pivoting configuration being different from the first pivoting configuration. A vehicle container and a door for a vehicle container are also encompassed.

  • Publication number: 20140110953
Abstract: The present invention provides a latch System for vehicles, equipment and other door open/close systems. The system comprises dual latch system operable horizontally thus making open/closure mechanism safe and secure. The Horizontal Latch System is activated by pistons or cylinders (pneumatic or hydraulic) and uses an approach that allows for the system to be operable at all times even if there is a problem with the cylinders or pistons. The System of present invention is unique because it offers a better and safer approach to the opening and closing of tailgates; adds longevity to the tailgate and reduces maintenance costs.
