  • Publication number: 20240133503
Abstract: A process and system for applying a liner to an inner surface of a pipeline uses an “inversion” technique to apply the liner. This involves arranging the liner into everted and non-everted portions and driving the non-everted portion through the pipeline such that it everts and is applied to the inner surface of the pipeline. At least first and second pipeline vehicles are used to drive the non-everted portion of the liner through the pipeline.

  • Publication number: 20230392064
Abstract: A new class of multifunctional tracers has been synthesised for use in the oil industry, specifically during waterflooding operations. They are used either in a traditional way (i.e., mapping the connections of oilfield selections) or to provide information on important physical-chemical parameters (such as oil content, temperature and rock permeability) useful for optimizing the oilfield management and subsequent improvement/increase in oil extraction. The multifunctional tracers have a polymer chain having a plurality of units different from one another and recurring along the chain and having respective specific functionalities.
