Abstract: The invention relates to a volatile composition dispenser. The volatile composition dispenser comprises a sealed reservoir containing a volatile composition, a membrane surrounding at least part of the sealed reservoir, and a rupture mechanism formed of a single piece of plastic located between the membrane and the sealed reservoir. The rupture mechanism comprises a support, and a movable portion attached to the support at a proximal end of the movable portion by at least one connection member. The connection member has a depth less than the depth of the movable portion and/or a width less than the width of the movable portion. One or more rupture elements are located at a distal end of the movable portion, wherein the distal end of the movable portion is movable relative to the support upon activation. • Patent number: 9327044
Abstract: A method for delivering a volatile fluid in a continuous manner, over a period of time and without leakage, to the atmosphere is disclosed. The method includes activating a device by breaching a semi-rigid sheet to release volatile fluid to the atmosphere. The device includes a flexible sheet and a semi-rigid sheet that are sealed along their edges to form a closed pocket or reservoir for containing a volatile fluid. The semi-rigid sheet is sealed on a first side to a flexible sheet and sealed on a second side to a vapor permeable membrane. The semi-rigid sheet contains a volatile fluid in the reservoir during storage, preventing contact of the volatile fluid with the vapor permeable membrane before the device is activated. The semi-rigid sheet has a differential score to guide the bounds of an opening that is formed upon activation. Once activated, the vapor permeable membrane provides continuous emission of a volatile fluid from the device.

  • Patent number: 8931716
Abstract: The invention refers to a spray pump device for spraying a liquid operated by a memory shape element. The spraying device is provided with a memory shape alloy wire with electrical resistivity, that is able to generate heat that increases its temperature so that due to memory shape property, the wire shrinks when current is applied. This shrinking permits the wire to activate a pump that atomizes a volatile substance.
