  • Publication number: 20210312227
Abstract: A system and method for detecting annotation errors are disclosed. A processor receives an image that includes a first annotation, and identifies a first classifier associated with the first annotation. The processor invokes the first classifier to classify the first annotation, where the first annotation is classified with a first label. The processor transmits a message in response to classifying the first annotation with the first label, where the message is for prompting an update to the first annotation. The processor receives the image with an updated first annotation, and saves the image with the updated first annotation in a data storage device. The image may be for training an artificial intelligence machine for conducting an automated task.

  • Publication number: 20200209875
Abstract: A method for training and operating an autonomous vehicle. The method includes operating the autonomous vehicle with a control module. The control module includes a series of sensors configured to detect objects or situations in a path of the autonomous vehicle, and a machine learning algorithm trained to classify the objects or interpret the situations detected by the sensors. The method also includes prompting a safety driver of the autonomous vehicle to provide a response when the machine learning algorithm is unable to classify one of the objects or is unable to interpret one of the situations. The method further includes receiving, at the control module, the response from the safety driver, and providing the response from the safety driver as additional training data to the machine learning algorithm.

  • Patent number: 9453759
Abstract: A system for determining vibration characteristics of a motor vehicle having a sensing arrangement (8) adapted to sense vibrations of the vehicle or a vehicle part, and an electronic processing means (11) adapted to apply an algorithm (12) for evaluating signals from the sensing arrangement (8) and for determining vibration characteristics based on the evaluation. The algorithm (12) includes at least one support vector machine SVM (13a . . . 13g) adapted to output a probability that the current vibration characteristic belongs to a particular pre-set type of vibration characteristic.

  • Patent number: 9120381
Abstract: An infotelematic system for a road vehicle, having: at least one liquid-crystal display; and a control device of the joystick type provided with a bar, which has a visible top portion that is shaped so as to be guided by a user's hand, and a hidden bottom portion, which is hinged at the bottom by means of a ball joint so as to be able to turn freely about a central hinge point; the control device is moreover provided with at least one haptic actuator, which is coupled to the bottom portion of the bar for varying the effort necessary for displacement of the bar itself.

  • Patent number: 8527485
Abstract: A system for processing information relating to a vehicle includes one or more electronic control units which can be connected to one another through a vehicle network. The system includes an electronic control device adapted to interface to and exchange data with the network and a nomadic device adapted to exchange data with the electronic device, wherein the electronic control device includes an automatic configuration module adapted to automatically detect parameters of the network so as to retrieve a network database of the vehicle. The network database includes the information required for properly interpreting the data circulating in the network.
