  • Publication number: 20260200115
Abstract: A portable machine for cutting pieces of composite material, having a compression module which includes one or more top rollers and two or more bottom rollers, wherein the top rollers are coupled to a mechanism configured to vertically move said top rollers, thereby compressing the pieces to be cut, wherein at least one top roller (4) is vertically offset with respect to a bottom roller adjacent to the same, the offset angle being comprised between 45°±15°, in such a way that the piece of composite material is compressed by the rollers in a direction that is substantially perpendicular to the direction of the fibers, fracturing, delaminating and breaking the fibers before the cut is made in a diamond wire cutting module.
