Abstract: A tangential flexographic plate mounting device without tension on a flexible support, including a frame and a rigid cylindrical support rotatably coupled with said frame, said cylindrical support including an outer surface on which it is possible to apply at least a flexible support, on which in turn a flexographic plate, complete with double-sided tape, is fixable. The device includes an applicator roller of the plate, complete with double-sided tape, on the flexible support, mobile between an inactive position and an operative application position of said plate complete with double-sided tape on said flexible support from an end edge thereof or from the middle portion thereof, in such operative position and during application the plate being wrapped around at least a portion of the outer cylindrical surface of said application roller, in order to assume, during application, an opposite curvature to that of said cylindrical support.

Abstract: A module for the dimensional analysis of a plate-holding cylinder includes a plurality of boxes, in table form, each of which corresponds to a surface portion of an outer surface of the plate-holding cylinder and is indicative of the dimensional deviation of a surface portion with respect to the nominal diameter of the plate-holding cylinder. A process and an apparatus for dimensional analysis of the plate-holding cylinder are also provided.

Abstract: A machine for in-register mounting of flexographic printing plates with a virtual data-processing system, having a supporting footing for a printing plate cylinder, on which a respective flexographic printing plate is mounted, suitable for printing a predefined image, and at least one television camera, which is connected to a monitor, is trained onto the cylinder and can slide parallel to the cylinder to check correct positioning-mounting of the printing plate, the television camera being associated with position sensors and connected to a device for the real-time processing and display of at least one composite image, for allowing the operator to perform precise position comparisons for optimum plate mounting between a preprocessed graphical reproduction of the image to be printed, provided on a digital memory composed of graphical memory associated with position measurements, and the position of the printing plate.

Abstract: A machine for washing flexographic printing plates, comprising a footing which forms at least one chamber for washing the printing plates, at least one shaft for supporting at least one printing plate in a cylindrical configuration arranged inside said washing chamber and associated with a first rotary actuation, at least one brush, with axis parallel to the axis of the supporting shaft and associated with a second rotary actuation and with a device for selective positioning from at least one inactive configuration to at least one washing configuration, in which the brush is in contact with the printing plate, at least one circuit for washing the printing plate and a dryer for drying the washed printing plate.

Abstract: A device for transmitting rotary motion to a plate-holding impression cylinder of a plate mounting machine for flexographic printing, comprising a backup roll which can be actuated rotatably by a first motor; a beam, which is provided with crescent-shaped rests for rotatably supporting end pivots of the impression cylinder; a gear coaxial to the impression cylinder and rotatably supported by a head associated with the beam; and a hollow transmission shaft engaging at one end, one of the pivots and, at the other end, the gear; the transmission shaft being movable coaxially to the gear between a retracted disengagement configuration and a protruding engagement configuration in which the impression cylinder is actuatable.
