Abstract: This invention relates to an automatic system for evaluating the economic value added of individual orders developable by an aggregated economic entity, comprising data processing means connected to data acquiring and/or receiving means, and to display means, the acquiring and receiving means transferring the acquired and/or received economic and/or financial data to said data processing means, characterised in that said data processing means are adapted to determine, in respect of at least one order developable by an aggregated economic entity, based upon economic and/or financial data received from said data acquiring and/or receiving means, the Economic Value Added of a period of the order by determining an Invested Capital of the Order including a fraction of the Invested Capital of said economic entity assigned to said order according to at least one assignment rules.

Abstract: A synthesis method in which that part of each interval of the original signal which contains the fundamental information is left unchanged, and only the remaining part of the interval is altered. In this way, not only is processing time reduced, but the natural sound of the synthetic signal is also improved. The main part of the interval is an exact reproduction of the original signal. At least the waveforms associated to voiced sounds are subdivided into a plurality of intervals, corresponding to the responses of the vocal duct to a series of excitation impulses of the vocal cords, synchronous with the fundamental frequency of the signal. Each interval is subjected to a weighting. The signals resulting from the weighting are replaced with a replica thereof shifted in time by an amount that depends on a prosodic information. The synthesis is then carried out by overlapping and adding the shifted signals.

Abstract: To produce a signal simulating the characteristics of the average human voice, a basic periodic waveform with generally sinusoidal sections separated by level sections is passed through a first filter for substantially equalizing its frequency components and is then shaped in a second filter whose transfer function approximates that of the vocal tract in a frequency band of 0 to 4 kHz. The basic waveform fed to the first filter may be modulated in amplitude and/or recurrence period by a pseudorandom signal from an ancillary generator.
