Abstract: The invention describes a safety system (100) for a working machine (1), wherein an operator (7) is able to interact with the machine (1), wherein the system (100) comprises a transceiver unit (71) associated with the operator (7), a central processing unit (11), associated with the working machine (1), so as to receive signals from the transceiver unit (71), conductive gloves (81) comprising electrical conduction means (85, 84) configured to operate in ordinary functioning (I) or in an alarm condition (II), electrical connection means (82) configured to connect the transceiver unit (71) to the conductive gloves (81), and wherein the central processing unit (11) is configured to recognize whether the operator (7) is authorized for use of the machine (1), and to transmit an alarm signal (Sx1) so as to disable the machine (1) if the second operative condition (II) occurs.

Abstract: Safety system for a manufacturing machine provided with at least one tool which can injure the operator, comprising a pair of gloves to be worn by the operator and provided with an outer surface of dielectric material and an electrically conductive inner surface; an alarm signal generator connected to the conductive inner surface; a processor unit connected to the metal machine members and to the at least one tool via a safety circuit arranged to sense the alarm signal when the operator cuts one of the gloves on coming into contact with one of the mechanical members of the machine, the processor unit being provided with circuitry for interrupting machine operation on sensing said alarm signal, in which the alarm signal is an alternating current signal the intensity of which is established by the processor unit on the basis at least of at least one of the physical characteristics of the operator, e.g. the electrical conductivity, as measured by a suitable circuit for determining at least this characteristic.

Abstract: A cell population prepared from blood mononuclear cells, the mononuclear cells being peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) or CD 14+ monocytes, the population containing from about 10% to about 50% of activated mononuclear antigen presenting cells (APCs) having the following characteristics: • they express surface markers CD2, CD83 and CD14, MHC class I and MHC class II molecules • they secrete TNF-? • they are able to stimulate allogenic T lymphocytes, as shown by MLR measurements • they are able to stimulate autologous T lymphocytes proliferation in an antigen specific way.
