  • Publication number: 20200222475
Abstract: The present invention refers to the transporation, or force-transdermal vehiculation, of cyanobacterial algae or extracts thereof, through electroporation, sonoporation (sound), photoporation (light), radioporation (radio frequency), and through any other transporation tool for enhancing the transdermal penetration of cyanobacterial molecules via the transmission of some force, be it electric, or generated by sound, light and/or radio frequencies. The invention cover the use of whole cyanobacterial algae or extracts thereof, with different levels of transdermal penetration, be it the low intensity transporation, which can be used for deep aesthetic and skin regenerating purposes, as well as dermatological problems; or the high intensity transporation, able to penetrate deep though the dermis, and beyond the hypodermis into organs and tissues, and that can be uses for muscular, osteo-articular and metabolic problems.

  • Publication number: 20200023022
Abstract: Multivitamins and multi-mineral supplements are widely used as a remedy for lack of proper nutrition. However, they tend to be scarcely assimilated, and more and more scientific reports claim that they are relatively useless if not harmful. This invention is an answer to this problem, as it provides a novel product, based on the nutritional bounty of cyanobacterial blue-green algae, and reinforced by foods and herbal extracts rich in one or more of the vitamins or minerals missing or scarce in the cyanobacterial blue-green algae. The result is a multivitamin and multi-mineral supplement that is completely organic and, being from alimentary and herbal sources that are recognized as foods by our organism, are much better assimilated.

  • Publication number: 20190142880
Abstract: The use of probiotics has become very widespread as a way to sustain gastrointestinal and general health. However, not all probiotic bacteria are effective, due to poor viability, inability to survive the gastrointestinal passage, to kill pathogens and colonize the gut. That is why pre-biotic substances are usually added to sustain, nourish, protect probiotic bacteria, make them stronger and increase their overall health-enhancing properties. We have found, for the first time, that phycocyanins from cyanobacterial algae, added to the culturing of probiotic or to probiotic products, are very effective as prebiotics, being able to strengthen probiotic bacteria's viability, resistance, pathogens-fighting ability and overall ability of probiotics to sustain human and animal health.

  • Publication number: 20180250351
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for inhibiting the UDP-GDH enzyme, which has in itself important beneficial implications, thus strongly enhancing the absorption and circulation of the natural drug curcumin, which in itself is poorly absorbed by the human organism. The method consists in blending curcumin with whole cyanobacterial algae, particularly Aphanizomenon flos aquae (but also Spirulina) or algal extracts concentrating or purifying the cyanobacterial molecules phycocyanin and phycocyanobilin. The method solves the significant problem of poor curcumin absorption through substances that also add their own nutritional and antioxidant activity to the mix.
