Abstract: A cutter plate, in particular a spherical face milling cutter, is provided for a cutting tool, and is made of a hard metal and has four wings with cutting edges. The cutting body, which is cruciform in a view from the front, has cutting edges, which extend from the area of the circumference of the cutting tool as far as its axis of rotation, or at least close to it. A simple clamping device, for example a clamping claw, is sufficient for fastening the cutting body on the tool body.
