Abstract: A connector assembly for connecting medical lines (3, 4) to each other comprises a first connector (1) having an insertion shaft (12), and a second connector (2) having an insertion opening (22). For connecting the first connector (1) and the second connector (2) to each other, the insertion shaft (12) of the first connector (1) is insertable along an insertion direction (I) into the insertion opening (22) of the second connector (2). For releasing the first connector (1) and the second connector (2) from each other, the insertion shaft (12) of the first connector (1) is removable from the insertion opening (22) of the second connector (2).
