In an example, a system can include a transmitter and a receiver connected to one another. The transmitter may encode an identifier of a device in a synchronization nibble of a SENT signal. The transmitter may transmit the SENT signal with the encoded identifier to the receiver. The receiver may receive the SENT signal from the transmitter. The receiver may decode the identifier of the device from the synchronization nibble of the SENT signal to identify the device.

    Abstract: A brake operating mechanism engages on an overrun brake present on a trailer, such as a caravan. The brake mechanism includes an actuator operated by pressurized air supplied by a buffer store via a valve controlled by a control unit. Downstream of the brake valve is a valve which is open in the non-operative state and closed during operation. A throttle opening is also provided, the drain capacity of which is greater than the pump capacity of an air pump located upstream of the brake valve and connected to the buffer store. As a result, the actuator moves back under all circumstances, i.e., braking action does not take place, and overheating is effectively prevented.

Such mounting means comprise two hook-shaped members and a flexible part extending therebetween. For adapting the length of the flexible part to the shape of the mirror and the tensioning of the hook-shaped members, the present invention proposes attaching tension means to one and preferably each of the hook-shaped members. According to a particular embodiment, the tension means consist of a tension roller or drum with which a flexible part extending between the hook-shaped members can be rolled up and locked.
