  • Patent number: 8806717
Abstract: A locking device for securing a motor vehicle component which is displaceable relative to a motor vehicle structure and which may be secured by means of the locking device within a displacement range in a respective position of rest reached by displacement is provided. The locking device comprising at least one first frictional element and at least one second frictional element, which is moved relative to the first frictional element upon displacement of the motor vehicle component and thereby may slide with a friction surface along a friction surface of the first frictional element under sliding friction conditions and which, in a respective position of rest of the motor vehicle component, with its friction surface bears against the friction surface of the second frictional element under static friction conditions. A flowable additional medium is provided which may be brought, upon a relative movement of the frictional elements, between their friction surfaces.

  • Patent number: 8375691
Abstract: A synthetic fiber rope with coupling element for transmitting an adjustment force to an adjustable part to be connected to the rope via the coupling element is provided. The coupling element is attached to the rope as an element separate from the rope. The coupling element at least partly engages in the interior of the rope and there engages behind rope components made of synthetic fibers, wherein the coupling element completely reaches through the rope transverse to its local direction of extension and protrudes beyond the outer surface of the rope. A base of the coupling element resting against the outer surface of the rope and extending along a portion of the outer surface of the rope. A succeeding component is attached to the coupling element in that it is press-fitted with the coupling element, such that material of the succeeding component is deformed and rope components being compacted in the region of the coupling element.
