  • Publication number: 20240038365
Abstract: One or more example embodiments of the present invention relates to a method for transmitting medical video data via a network. According to one more example embodiments, medical video data is provided via at least one of a medical imaging modality or a hospital data system. The medical video data is held in a buffer. Furthermore, a network connection is established in the network from a terminal to the buffer via a web protocol. The medical video data is transmitted from the buffer to the terminal in at least one network data stream via the network connection via the web protocol. The medical video data is displayed on a display apparatus of the terminal. One or more example embodiments of the present invention further relates to a system for transmitting medical video data and a buffer and also a terminal for such a system.

  • Publication number: 20220084345
Abstract: A method and an apparatus are provided for further processing and for packing value documents, which were previously processed by a value document processing apparatus and bundled to form bundles. Labels are created for the bundles, which have a machine-readable information item linked to the respective bundle's visible serial number. Before or after each bundle is labeled, an image of the bundle is detected with the aid of a control device to ascertain the actual serial number of the bundle and compare it to the serial number that belongs to the machine-readable information. In dependence on whether or not the actual visible serial number of the respective bundle matches the visible serial number belonging to the machine-readable information for the bundle, the respective bundle is further processed (e.g., packed by a packing apparatus) or not processed.

  • Patent number: 9131438
Abstract: Simple and robust precise time synchronization of network subscribers is provided by a system having at least one head station with a satellite antenna and a receiving station receiving a satellite signal containing time information. Also included is a station clock having a network connection for the synchronization of the network subscribers using a real time network protocol. An electronic system, arranged in the head station or the station clock, receives the time information from the satellite signal. A bidirectional communication infrastructure connects the head station and the station clock.

  • Patent number: 9125151
Abstract: A more simple and robust time synchronization of network subscribers compared to solutions known in the state of the art is provided by a device for time synchronization of network subscribers of a network based on satellites, having at least one satellite antenna connected to a receiving unit receiving a satellite signal containing time information. An electronic system that obtains the time from the satellite signal is connected to a time server with a network connection for the synchronization of the network subscribers using a network protocol. The complexity of the device is reduced and the common coaxial infrastructure between the receiving unit and the time server is removed for the satellite signal and replaced by a robust infrastructure.

  • Publication number: 20100077246
Abstract: A microprocessor system includes a plurality of microprocessors which are connected to one another by signaling technology. In order to temporally synchronize the microprocessors in a relatively simple manner, it is proposed in at least one embodiment that provision be made of a central clock generator which outputs a clock signal in the form of temporally successive pulses to all microprocessors in a parallel manner, that provision be made of a master which can switch the output of the clock signal on and off, that all microprocessors sum the clock signal from the central clock generator in the form of a counter reading in each case, that the master be able to reset the counter readings of all microprocessors. In at least one embodiment, in order to synchronize all microprocessors, the master first of all interrupt the output of the clock signal, then set all counter readings to a defined value, and then cancel the interruption of the output of the clock signal again.
