    Abstract: A method for operating a transportation vehicle wherein an electronic computing device of the transportation vehicle is coupled with a mobile electronic terminal device located outside of the transportation vehicle, and the electronic computing device receives a follow signal provided by the mobile electronic terminal device, which characterizes a follow request to the transportation vehicle, receives at least one piece of object information from an environment sensor system, moves the transportation vehicle as a function of the follow signal and as a function of the at least one piece of object information, transmits the at least one piece of object information to the mobile electronic terminal device, receives allocation information provided by the mobile electronic terminal device, and moves the transportation vehicle as a function of the allocation information.
